We could not be more grateful for the compassionate care given by Dr. Hancock, the techs and all of the support staff at Hickory Veterinary Hospital. We came to this place after our very sick 12-year-old “puppy,” Chloë, had been hospitalized for 7 days. Unlike her previous vet, here at Hickory, Dr. Hancock not only cared for Chloë but was wonderful in her way of instructing us on how to best care for her at home in a way we could understand. Dr. Hancock gave us information and confidence to keep Chloë on a path to being the bright, energetic dog she had previously been. After a few weeks, Chloë bounced back and started becoming our playful, silly pup again, and then some! Because of Dr. Hancock’s care, advice and continuing communication, we know what to do to help keep her this way. In fact, the neighbors call Chloë “the miracle dog” because of the transformation they have witnessed since her hospitalization. As I said, we could not be more grateful!.

So thankful for Hickory Veterinary Hospital. My baby started limping over the weekend and when I called our regular vet first thing Monday they could not see her. Started reading reviews and called Hickory. They were able to squeeze us in to see Dr. Redding....who must be a cat whisperer, because my girl was so comfortable with him. Very attentive to our girl and assuring to this stressed cat mom. (Hickory Veterinary Hospital, if you see this, thank you so much for taking such great care of our Fleury girl.).

I brought my cat in for his first visit at Hickory Veterinary Hospital last weekend and easily decided that he would be coming here for any future vet needs. I was happy with the communication from start to finish. I left feeling informed about my cat's health and 100% confident in their care for his health.

I brought my dog to Midway today and I had a Pleasant experience. I would personally like to thank Vanessa who took the time to go over the treatment plan for my dog. She was in a lot of pain and I was extremely concerned about her. Vanessa was kind and very empathetic. She worked with me and allowed me to be a part of the decision process for what was best for my dog. My dogs have been going to Midway for quite some time and I will continue to bring my dogs there because of people like Vanessa who show how much they care about us and our pets.

After wanting to switch vets for a long time I finally made the leap. I went from having to wait hours at the vet to being seen in a timely manner. One time they were a little behind but it was communicated to me. I’ve seen 3 of the doctors and they are all extremely kind to my dogs. Dr Hodges was even hugging on my Great Dane and I know she stinks because she needs a bath :) I will be a lifelong midway customer.

I have taken my pets here for the last 12 years. They are the top of the line when it comes to the services they offer. They truly care about your pets and you! I have referred my family here and all my family uses them now! I just love them!!!.
