DR. LINDSEY VERNILLO, OD - GREAT BRIDGE EYE CARE REVIEWS
They were so helpful getting my son an appt quickly for pinkeye, they warned me it might be a long wait because they were trying to squeeze us into a full schedule but we didn't wait long at all & the doctor was very understanding & patient with my son whose had a fear of all things medical lately. They did not take medicaid but the out of pocket cost was fair, it was the best price I could find around Chesapeake/Virginia Beach.
I've used Great Bridge Eye Care for several years and they are the best. Dr. Holcomb is awesome as is the rest of the staff. I have retinal issues and they put my mind to ease with every visit. You also get the hometown feel and it doesn't feel like an assembly line like some businesses.
I take a whole day off work and drive from Gloucester to receive annual eye care from Dr. Holcomb. His thoroughness and expertise is second to none. I had a great experience with Technician Renee, who was knowledgeable, confident, and attentive to my needs.

DR. SHANE SWATTS - EASTERN VIRGINIA EYE ASSOCIATES REVIEWS
I was very impressed and pleased with my visit. Everyone was so nice and professional. We did not have to sit in the waiting room for any period of time waiting to be called back. The doctor was extremely thorough and answered all questions. I also like the fact that the treatments that were recommended were available in the office and we did not have to go to a pharmacy or order them off of a website.
Excellent patient care! The employees are very professional and do a great job at making you feel comfortable. I have to give a very special shout-out to kaleigh! Thank you for your assistance, and keep up the good work, Ma'am!
Been coming here for years. Staff is fantastic and so are the doctors! Very friendly, professional and overall welcoming. Highly recommended

DR. KENNETH R. WESTCOTT, OD - DEVELOPMENTAL VISION CARE, PC REVIEWS
For the course of my son’s treatment we were able to see Marbert Picott as my son’s therapist. She was amazing! My 9 year old son adored her and is sincerely sad to not get to see her every week (we graduated from therapy!). Marbert’s attention to my son’s individual needs and accommodations made each session an engaging, challenging, and rewarding time. Words can not express how thankful we are for her! I would evaluate this facility for Dr. Westscott’s exceptional care and knowledge of developmental vision needs I would give it a 5/5. I have been searching for a doctor who could discuss with me the problems my son was facing. Dr. Westscott identified the problems and developed a therapeutic plan to help my son. He was able to find issues that no other doctor could pinpoint and develop a plan to overcome them. Thank you for all you do!
My son had significant trouble reading since he was little. I always chalked it up to him having a more technology oriented brain. On the advice of an educational psychologist, I had him evaluated by Dr. Westcott and discovered his reading issues weren't a lack of skill but rather two forms of eye dysfunction -- binocular and saccadic. He started therapy last February and what a difference it has made! As a parent, it makes me want to cry thinking how difficult and frustrating it must have been for him. With Dr. Westcott, Gayle and Katherine's help, my son is now reading at level with a fluency and comprehension that I never thought possible. You have to be committed to the weekly visits and the nightly exercises, but it is certainly worth every effort you make. Dr. Westcott and his therapists are not only skilled at what they do, but they are good people who truly want the best for their patients. Thank you Developmental Vision Care team!
I wish Dr Wescott was cloned. We drive 3 hours round trip every Friday for therapy. Long story very short it was by the grace of God our paths crossed through referrals and I don’t want to imagine where my son would be without him. He’s intuitive. Extremely patient. And feel like he really cares about my son getting better. He’s honest even if the answer isn’t something he can help with (referrals to OT or other needs). Thank you to all the friendly staff and caring therapists too! For those with insurance concerns: Insurance can sometimes be an issue but with a little research and some phone calls I was able to figure out how insurance can cover most of it.
