It was wonderful to see Warhol's work and life in chronological order throughout the 7 floors of the museum. You can then understand him and his art better. The display of his personal collections was interesting indeed, and tactile exhibts prepared for visitors with disabilities were brilliant. In the lower level is a hands-on art studio where you do your own artwork - smudge prints, silk screenings, etc. that was great fun.
I was surprised this museum wasn't packed with people, such a great place to visit in Pittsburgh. We really got to take our time and see these iconic pieces by Andy Warhol. If you are a fan of his work this is a MUST SEE.
Starting at the top floor, the beginning of Worhala's life, schooling, and career. Then each floor followed his career by decade. I easily spent 5 hours here, ending with a nice giftshop and coffee selection at their Cafe.
