SCHENLEY PARK REVIEWS
The Christmas lights display at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is AMAZING. Highly recommend it, perfect evening, so many beautiful displays and plants to see. The only way it could have been better is if they had professional photographers stationed at one of the many photo spots - maybe you could schedule 15-minute slots in advance to avoid crowding, and give others the chance to take some pics of themselves and loved ones. Absolutely gorgeous, will definitely be back!
The best spot in Pittsburgh for a sunset scene. Also, there are plenty spaces for jogging, having a picnic, sunbathing, and playing tennis. In the winter, when the meadow is covered by snow, it looks really relaxing.
A beautiful park with many walking paths. We went to Phipps conservatory. There is free parking right in front of it. We really enjoyed the beautiful flowers and the creative displays they had on for Christmas.

FRICK PARK REVIEWS
The park boasts good number of trails that you can walk/hike on foot or by bike. In addition, the park has cool solar energy production technology installed in the parking lot. It fosters a community garden and manages waste very well. The park is equipped with Toilets close to the entrance and a building that is built with energy conservation as the main theme. There's also a part of the park where fitness equipment is installed. You might have to watch your step carefully as there could be rat snakes crossing the trails. It's also a place to spot a lot of birds and deers in any season.
In a modern metropolitan city like Pittsburgh, Frick Park is really exceptional. You can enjoy wide open spaces. You can also get yourself completely lost in the woods. Deer are very prevelent. Take the Roller Coaster Trail for a really special hike. The trail isn't much more than a deer trail. Have fun. Everyone should check it out. You can just go for yourself!
It's one of my favorite escapes. This park was everything from easy walking trails to steeper inclines. It is a great way to spend a day. I grew up lsliding down the blue slide, and now I enjoy running and hiking around the whole park.
