3 Best Amusement Parks in Pittsburgh, PA

I couldn’t go on the slides because I was with my small kids, and I still had an awesome time. Great lifeguards, lots of space, and plenty for small children to do. They have lifejackets available for everyone, and I appreciate the extra safety measure. Also, the view is gorgeous.

We had the best time! Lines weren’t too long, parking was easy/reasonable, lockers $15 a little steep- $30 admission for 2+ tickets. They could use better beer selection at Bridge Bar- potato patch fries were delicious! Lazy river was fun, wave pool was a blast, girls loved the slides!

A great water park. Especially on a hot sunny day. We spent over 6 hours and the day flew by. The Mon tsunami wave park and lazy river are favorites. Their is a shortage of lawn chairs. To get one get there early . besides the shortage of lawn chairs and long lines. it's a great experience for a hot day.

This is a wonderful place to visit with family for a full day of fun. It’s also perfect for a solo outing if you’re just looking to explore and enjoy some time to yourself. There’s plenty to see, especially the charming Storybook Village, which is always a highlight. What I really appreciate is how the park is set up with a separate area of rides just for little kids, apart from the thrill rides and big-kid attractions. It makes it so much easier to plan your day and know exactly which rides are age-appropriate. It also allows for easy splitting up—some family members can enjoy the smaller rides while others head off for more adventurous fun. Overall, a well-thought-out, enjoyable place for all ages!

We love Idlewild! It is such a great park, and we have made so many fun memories there! For our family, the season passes; they are so worth it! You can go as often as you want in the summer and fall with most of the passes. Their payment plan system they have is great and can make it more affordable for families. Another little thing I wanted to mention. Sometimes we have people in our group that need a wheelchair, and I noticed this year they are offering mobility scooter rentals now, which is great!

Daniel Tiger was the highlight of the trip. A perfect place to take young children. It has the feel of a big amusement park in bite sizes for the kiddos.
