KENNYWOOD REVIEWS
Been going here since I was a kid. I highly recommend getting the season pass before the summer. They go on sale and there are different levels. You get a free refillable cup with the pass. And it pays itself off after the second visit. The one we got also get you in for October events and the Christmas events. During the week the park does close early like 8pm. It definitely has gotten pricey over the years. The games are pretty expensive. There are lockers there if you need one. We went on a day that looked like it was gonna rain and it turned out to be the perfect day. Lines for rides were very short. And it wasn't too hot.
We had tickets to the holiday lights. We went on a weekday during the day and my kids had an absolute blast. There were no crowds so my kids go to ride rides over and over with no wait. It was a fantastic experience and everyone was so kind. We parked in the free parking lot and the walk to the park wasn’t bad at all providing you’re able to walk a large flight of stairs. There’s an escalator but it wasn’t in operation when we were there.
The Holiday Lights at Kennywood were amazing! We go in the Summer a lot with the kids, but this was our first time doing the holiday lights. About 8 main park rides open, all of Thomas Town, and almost all of Kiddieland. The lights were beautiful, the train exhibit was impressive, and the tree was impressive! I highly recommend this if you can go!

SANDCASTLE WATERPARK REVIEWS
I couldn’t go on the slides because I was with my small kids, and I still had an awesome time. Great lifeguards, lots of space, and plenty for small children to do. They have lifejackets available for everyone, and I appreciate the extra safety measure. Also, the view is gorgeous.
We had the best time! Lines weren’t too long, parking was easy/reasonable, lockers $15 a little steep- $30 admission for 2+ tickets. They could use better beer selection at Bridge Bar- potato patch fries were delicious! Lazy river was fun, wave pool was a blast, girls loved the slides!
It's a great water park for Pennsylvania. The wave pool is a decent size, the park is spacious and the water slides are great to ride for all ages. I love the option during the summer in an area where we get no sun for most of the year.

IDLEWILD & SOAKZONE REVIEWS
First time visiting, and I absolutely loved this park!!! Best part for me was its location with lots of woods and the beautiful pavilions which make for the perfect break in the shade from summer heat.. (The park is a slice of Americana!! It's beautiful!!) Season passes worked great. I intend to upgrade from silver to gold next year. We went for Neighbor Days, and loved all the opportunities for the kiddos to do meet and greets with their favorite characters. Knowing next to nothing beforehand except Daniel Tiger, Storybook Forest was amazing - as is Cinderella's Royal Celebration at the end of the day. My kiddo nearly lost their mind meeting Cinderella and Tinkerbell. It's a 4.5 hour drive for me ... And well worth it !! We will definitely be back.
We brought our kids here for years, and now we get to bring the next generation! The park is timeless and geared toward the family and for the price I’ll create memories that can last throughout your lives as it has done for us. Bring your own grill and food or eat at the many food stands! Best family fun for those with the little ones!
It’s a wonderful, historic, amazing place. It’s worth the drive from Pittsburgh with little kids. There’s so much to do that it takes more than one trip. There are lots of rides that grownups AND kids can go on together.
