"Bob O'Connor Golf Course is 18 holes with a par of 34 and a length of 2,400 yards, with a slope rating. Mark Ormison designed the Bob O'Connor Golf Course. Pittsburgh area residents have used a fun, challenging golf experience at "The Bob" for over a century. Individual and group lessons, tools, pull-cart rentals, and a fully stocked pro store are also available. The Golf Course at Schenley Park has hosted various unique events and outings for groups such as the Special Olympics, the African American Chamber of Commerce of Western Pennsylvania, and others. They also feature 3 unique assets available to the public that both challenge experienced golfers and provide outdoor and indoor opportunities to practice and sharpen their skills.

2026 Update: The facility, opened in April 2021, provides indoor golf training and educational programs. It includes two TrackMan simulators available for hourly rental, allowing practice and virtual play on more than 150 courses worldwide. The Bob 9 course operates daily as a 2,400-yard, par-34 walking course. The golf shop offers rental clubs, pull carts, Club Car Tempo Walk units, and a selection of equipment and apparel. The facility has received the GameChanger Award for hosting the largest PGA Junior League program in the Tri-State PGA Section for the past three years. The organization partners with schools, youth-serving agencies, and nonprofit groups to deliver life skills and golf clinics to more than 1,600 children and teens annually. Programs are available for participants ages 5 to 18 and include instruction in putting, chipping, and full swing, along with lessons focused on healthy habits, goal setting, respect, and courtesy."
