IRREGARDLESS CAFÉ REVIEWS
Eaten here twice and both times were fantastic! I'm not a vegan or vegetarian but the vegan dishes are delicious! They also had around 4-5 meat dishes on the menu the night we went. I got the lamb with mashed potatoes and it was fantastic! GREAT salads too! Great beer and alcoholic beverages! Live music every night! Volume was perfect. Not overly loud and my wife and I could still carry on a conversation with no problem. We can't wait to go again!
Absolutely amazing food, and wonderful service. We were excited to try it out, as their inclusive menu caters to my flexitarian fiancé who ordered chicken, and vegan and gluten free dishes for me. They also have actual offerings for vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free that seem more than an after thought that were expertly executed. It's a great place to bring friends and family of different dietary preferences without anyone having to sacrifice. I highly, HIGHLY recommend the mushroom "scallops", whether you have a plant-based diet or not.
This was just an absolutely wonderful restaurant for getting a delicious full course meal with diverse dishes in a laid back atmosphere. You would get to experience an extensive global menu with each dish coming out to be mouth watering. The food is exceptional and filled with various flavor. Some of our favorites include the Chicken Royale, Tempeh Tikka Masala, Mussels, and incredible desserts: Pistachio Pound Cake and Caffe Mocha Mousse.

TUPELO HONEY REVIEWS
I had a very pleasant experience with our waitress Cheryl. It was my first visit to this beautiful establishment. It gives you a southern Vibe as soon as you walk in. I must say the color scheme definitely screams the wholesome North Carolina vibe! Today I decided to give the waffles and chicken a try but with a little honey twist and a little bite of sriracha!! It was very tasty and the chicken was cooked to perfection and drizzling with that Sriracha honey!!! I would highly recommend this dish if it's your first time here. I definitely will be coming back to enjoy something else on the menu. I saw they had shrimp and grits. I may give that a try! I highly recommend you give this place a try. They won't disappoint!
We went there last night for my birthday and what a wonderful treat it turned out to be. They have the coolest vibe with a relaxed classical elegance and wonderful collection of NC themed art on the walls. Our server arrived quickly and was very kind and professional. The food came out surprisingly fast and all the dishes were as ordered and prepared perfectly. They also have an awesome bar with unique cocktails and several beers on tap. I truly enjoyed every aspect of my meal and I plan to go back often. Go visit them soon because I know you will love it. Also I highly recommend the sriracha honey chicken and waffles; It is a unique dish with the perfect blend of savory, sweet and spicy.
Mac n cheese waffles are incredible. The grits were amazing as well. Wife had burger and fries with egg and bacon. Even the bacon on the burger was crazy. The fries are best ever. 1st time here and im an instant fan. Service was great.

SECOND EMPIRE RESTAURANT AND TAVERN REVIEWS
Definitely one of the top 3 restaurants around Raleigh. The marvelous house was full of history, which the hostess enthusiastically recounted, as well as beautiful artworks many of which were from local artists’ hands. Everything we ordered was superbly executed which leads one to believe this to be true with regard to every other item on the menu. Surely the shrimp, pork belly, scallop, etc were savory and of great texture. And speaking of the entree one could hardly expect a fillet of trout or veal chop more juicy and tender than what we’re offered here. Yet equally or even more laudable were the sides - orange-scented wild rice, saffron risotto, etc. Dazzling, but enjoy! And the dreamy perfect chocolate soufflé (which is a rare find nowadays) to finish. What a night!
Invited by friends for the Chef’s Table experience - it truly delivered! Chef de Cuisine Daniel Schurr prepared an amazing menu and we had the opportunity to explore the kitchen for a one-of-a-kind behind-the-scenes experience. Highly recommend the Chefs Table for the experience. The food and wine pairings were perfect and well worth it! But if you don’t need the full experience, the menu and ambience by themselves are worth the trip! 10 out of 10 would recommend it!
The most incredible and memorable experience. My partner took my family and I here for my birthday and surprised me with dinner at the Chef's table in the kitchen. The food and staff are absolutely incredible and delivered an amazing experience that still has me smiling a week later. It was a 5-star experience all the way. Despite their incredible talents, everyone was so humble and kind, and they took such excellent care of us. I cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant. It's a true gem!
