THE COWFISH REVIEWS
The food was incredible! I decide to, first time they are, do something simple a burger with sweet potato fries. Although those are very simple dishes I so commonly see restaurants mess them up. The sweet potato fries were perfect not undercooked not overcooked not over seasons nothing they were perfect. The burger was one of the two best burgers I've had at a restaurant in my life! The black truffle cheese I would have loved to have tasted more that was on my burger that is why I even ordered it without any sauce that normally came with that burger but, I realized that it was meant to be a blending of flavors they all compliment each other the roasted shallots the sauteed mushrooms the black truffle cheese and the burger itself. I am beyond impressed with the chef/cooks there. And for a drink I got a hot tea, a peach herbal tea and that was incredible as well not sure where they got the loose leaf blend from but it was very good. On a passing note, the Burger was grilled to perfection as well. I live 2 hours from the location of this restaurant and was there upon recommendation from a medical professional after a surgical procedure. I have actually contemplated returning to that area strictly for this restaurant as it was that incredible. I recommend this to everyone and yes it is kid friendly with the kids menu as well. Oh, did I mention the large aquarium inside the restaurant?.
Lively, creatively decorated spot. We went for lunch and the crowd was very diverse. Definitely kids friendly for both lunch and dinner. Great staff, the owner was visible, talkative and charming. The food is unique and flavorful. Portions and large and the drinks are creative. You have to try the burgushi - quirky (filling, don't be fooled). All around fun and flavorful experience. We'll be back to the North Hills location for sure.
We wanted somewhere fun with a great atmosphere and equally delicious food to celebrate a coworker’s retirement. We came to Cowfish, and it did not disappoint. First, the restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the fish tank is incredible. Second, the staff are so pleasant and personable. Our server Corey is the absolute best. He was funny, witty, and very attentive. He answered all our questions and gave some great suggestions. Third, the food! The food is amazing. Going to a sushi burger restaurant one has to get sushi and burger. I got a spicy tuna roll as my appetizer and the jalapeño popper burger for my dinner. So. Much. Good. Food. To top off the night, Corey and the staff serenaded our retiring coworker with song, cheers, and dessert on the house. Thank you Cowfish for being so amazing. Shout out to Corey.

SUSHI BLUES CAFE REVIEWS
Lovely place, tasty food, courteous service. It is a great spot for these spring days with an outdoor dining option that is interesting and fresh. Inside is spacious and comfortable. The food was excellent. I asked for: Spicy Octopus (Diced fresh octopus and cucumber tossed in spicy sauce, served cold with scallions and roe, topped with sesame seed and ponzu sauce) was good. Carter Finley (Tempura calamari, bacon, avocado, cilantro, cucumber, spicy mayo, sesame seeds) really delicious. And, Steven Tyler (Chopped shrimp Tempura, spicy mayo, scallions, cucumber on top of Dizzy roll) great. The service was impeccable, fast, and respectful. I will come back to try more rolls.
Super awesome vibe! Everyone is laid back and its really fun to eat on the patio and check everything out. The sushi is great and the rolls have cool names...be sure to get the buy one get one free deal. The food doesn't come out fast especially if you order a non-sushi item but you don't really go there to be in a hurry. If you like sushi then this is your place!.
I've been to Sushi Blues many times over the years and I have always enjoyed their sushi rolls. I love the outdoor patio area with the heat lamps so you can be seated outdoors when it's cold. Since the pandemic they have had challenges keeping adequate staff so I would plan on being there at least an hour, but I think it's worth the wait to try to food and enjoy the atmosphere.

SONO SUSHI REVIEWS
Sono is our go to Sushi spot in Raleigh. The sushi is always fresh, nigiri always has the right ratio of fish to rice, and the speciality rolls are always spot on. We love to do chef's omakase for our anniversary, or hit the bar for rolls and nigiri on a weeknight -- where bartender, Sushada, makes amazing cocktails (or she's just as happy to pour you a Japanese whisky or a draft beer). Ask what's fresh and if Toro is on the menu -- order it. And check out the other weeknight drink specials - 2 for 1 sake night is our fave. Also, if you're craving a bowl of ramen, the spicy miso is amazing and is the best comfort food.
Amazing and quick service! The server was on it with taking our order, refilling our drinks, and clearing dirty dishes. Sushi was great! My favorite roll was the Grand Piano. I loved that it was real crab and you could definitely taste the difference. The fish was really fresh. Definitely going back! All the rolls were amazing though!.
Sono is amazing! My wife and I stopped in for lunch. The staff was very nice. We started off with the Yakitori appetizer. My wife ordered Chicken Ramen and I ordered the Daily Bento. Everything was delicious!.
