TOP 3 42ND STREET OYSTER BAR REVIEWS
Great service—terrific energy and focus—-with all recommendations spot on! All the food was great from the NE Clam Chowder to the sweet potato side and ceased salad to the key lime pie—and the shrimp and crab cakes and buffalo shrimp! Worth a stop if you’re in town.
We were two couples this evening and chose to sit at a high top table in the bar area. We stuck primarily to fresh shucked oysters (4 doz.), some Rockefeller oysters, shrimp cocktail, crab & artichoke dip, and bacon wrapped scallops, hush puppies and some great apple pie with rum sauce. Service was ideal, drinks were great (we had beer, wine, and whisky) and the ambience totally conducive to leisurely conversation. We splurged, we knew we doing so and everything was grand. Despite the naysayers, I found that this restaurant very much still hits the mark.
Excellent food, cool old-school atmosphere. Reservations are a must, especially anywhere near a weekend. Public parking a couple of streets down. Oysters were lovely and ambiance was very cool.

TOP 3 N.C. SEAFOOD RESTAURANT REVIEWS
I throughly enjoyed my meal at this restaurant. It was reasonably priced and they gave me more than I could eat or should eat in one sitting. But it was so good I ate it all anyway.
They make seafood NC style (calabash). I wish they would season it a little more, but its nothing a little hot sauce and tartar sauce can't fix.
Wife and I have been regular customers for many years. Always reliable for friendly, fast and tasty food! Servings are big, so be careful how much you order. Our favorites are the flounder and scallops. Hush puppies are best we’ve ever had.

TOP 3 RALEIGH CRAB HOUSE REVIEWS
The food is so good. It is well made and the flavors are robust. You get to choose your combinations for seafood which is nice. The dessert, I question, as I did not like it, but everything else including appetizers was good. Nice servers and greeters. Our food came quickly as well. The atmosphere is unique but nice. There is ample parking and it's free. Thanks for reading.
When I tell you these people know what they are doing and are Super friendly belive it. I called and asked if she could seat my large party 10 min before closing . She accommodated us and was as gracious as pie. Food was delicious and Service was friendly. Made it one of the highlights of or visit from California.
Food was really good! Not a long wait, helpful service. Recommend getting the shrimp in the Cajun butter and catfish were pretty good. Corn was flavorful and chewed well. Potatoes were good, paired well with everything.
