WAYNE COUNTY FAMILY AQUATIC CENTER REVIEWS
I like to arrive early. Literally like the first one there. But still in amazing condition, clean, good staff with plenty of lifeguards on duty. Wave pool, and two water slides. There's an area to eat and purchase hot food (pizza, burgers, fries, hotdogs, chips etc.). With plenty of lounge seating and awning tables. Love this place. A Detroit gem.
I have been coming to this park for over 25 years. Very clean, staff and lifeguards are on point. You can buy swimming suits and goggles. The food is good and not very costly. The cost for admission is good also. The Best kept secret on the Eastside of Detroit.
The staff is friendly. The pool is warm. My niece and I both enjoyed the wave pool as well as the slides. The Wayne County Family Aquatic Center is a great place to spend a warm day.

SPLASH UNIVERSE REVIEWS
Love this water park in our small community! Love their events for families! They have an outdoor splash pad that is small. Wish there were more out there like a pool or hot tub maybe some chairs to lay out in the sun. After an hour of swimming, you are pretty much done. They have had issues with chlorine content in the air. They do have the arcade and breakout rooms are fun! Overall very family friendly! Being a local to the area we have been there quite a bit and would still visit again!
We went to Splash Universe for a birthday party, and it was our first visit. It worked great as a party location, particularly for the age of kids, mostly 2-6. It is perfect sized for parents with young kids because you can see almost everywhere. A few more life jackets would be nice, but that was really the only negative.
We had six kids 7 to 9 years. We felt comfortable letting them go in different directions. The water park is designed in a way that you can see every aspect from our chairs. The kids came home exhausted and the grownups had fun!

RED OAKS WATERPARK REVIEWS
This place is great! It has a wave pool, lazy River, water slides, covered picnic areas, etc. Not too crowded on a weekday, though my son and i got there just as a summer camp group was leaving, so we had to wait a long time to change into our swimwear. There are lots of lifeguards, and they rescued someone while i was there.
Amazing water park, there should be some more little kid slides but it was a blast! Free life jackets (as long as you return them) and tons of lifeguards! Everybody there was nice, the big water slides were a blast, must be 4’3 to go on them, the pool connected to the big slides is 3 feet. Lazy river was nice, we loved it!
Clean facility, attentive lifeguards, lots of things to do. My three year old loved the wave pool. Splash pad, and lazy river. We had a great time. Will definitely be back. *Update* my now 10 year old still love this park. Very clean. Great day with family.
