NUCLEUS PORTLAND REVIEWS

I stumbled across this gallery (or shall I say art bar) after eating at Poke Mon next door. A lovely concept of chill beer bar and affordable art. Currently on exhibit is art made from coasters which makes for interesting original micro masterpieces. Additionally they have a decent selection of prints, greeting cards, and lapel pins. Be sure to check out the beers and sit and draw at one of the adorable table benches. They have a good selection with some beers I haven't seen on tap at other places. Excited to see what goes up next month.

Continued to love this place and the events they host. They just hosted a DJ and draw event where DJs came to spin and throw down their own beats and mixes. True urban culture and scene mixed with creativity from illustrations. They have other events like "Bug & Brew" where you can draw live unique bugs as well as their weekly drink and draw. The owners have been such welcoming and awesome people since the first day I moved here. Great environment! Come check it out when you drop through Portland.

Quiet and cute, small gallery space with a vibrant shop that you have to walk into first in order to get to the gallery. It is great there. Will definitely revisit depending on exhibits.

Had an amazing experience visiting Alberta Street Gallery! The space itself is beautiful and full of incredible, inspiring artwork. We had the pleasure of meeting Thomas Haynes, who seems to be the owner — such a cool and welcoming guy. You can feel the passion and creativity the moment you walk in. It’s definitely a must-visit spot if you’re in the area. Highly recommended.

Love this art gallery situated in a wonderful neighborhood. It encourages community participation and the artwork is beautiful and diverse. Encouraged me to continue creating.

Kim Nickens was extremely kind and helpful in showing us all the amazing art work from artists in the area. This place is wonderful.

This is definitely my favorite gallery in Portland. Every artist's work I've seen has impressed me, and I can't express how much I appreciate a large majority of them being POC. In addition to being both welcoming and inviting from the moment I walk in, the owner and assistant art director are extremely knowledgeable & host great events! I definitely recommend stopping by, you won't be disappointed.

I have visited Froelick Gallery a few times and want to share how impressed I have been with the owner and staff each time. Always warm and welcoming, and happy to engage me about the work showing, and engaged my children about the work too the time they came with me. If ever you're in the area, do take the time to stop there.
