3 Best Assisted Living Facilities in Allentown, PA

My father needed a short term place to land in between a medical emergency and us moving him to a new condo. All of this happened the week of Christmas so I was panicking finding a place last minute during that busy week (I was also 9 months pregnant and living in California!). Rittenhouse quickly came to my rescue and handled everything I couldn’t from afar. Special thank you to Doug, who worked with me and helped me navigate everything thru the chaos of different time zones. He was always ready to take my call or text and made everything go so smoothly. My dad had a great short stay there, he grew to really enjoy the staff, loved doing his PT there, and particularly enjoyed the barber shop. You can tell the staff really cares about the residents which put me at ease during the stressful transition.

The staff is 5 Star! My mother was there in memory care, she was in very good hands. So appreciative of all their hard work, from the management down to the aides, very professional. Thanks for making Mom feel at home!

My daughter recently started working at this very lovely facility and everyone has been incredibly welcoming and supportive. They invited me in for a full tour and I was very impressed with how clean and attractive the rooms were, especially for activities and dining. The residents were friendly and cheerful to greet me. I was also invited to attend their Mother's Day Tea and am very much looking forward to participating, meeting more residents and my daughter's co-workers and being a part of this welcoming community.

Very happy so far. It’s taking my relative some time to get settled after a traumatic life event, and the staff have been very patient with him and super communicative and transparent with me. The nursing staff has been attentive and available for questions or concerns. They are doing a ton of renovations and it will be great to see the upgrades! Thanks for being so kind and caring to my relative even when he’s having a bad day.

My grandmother lives at DevonHouse and she always talks about how kind and attentive their nursing staff is. Every person goes above and beyond to accommodate my grandmothers needs (which can be a lot lol) thank you DevonHouse for making her feel so comfortable and heard!

This is an incredible organization, one sign of how good the services all the workers smile. The staff is very well trained, and they provide the utmost care.
