Everything looked nice at Atria Weston Place. The staff was very prompt and nice, but the layout was confusing to me. I can imagine what it would be to older person with memory problems. It had little areas going off to the side. One hallway was for the memory care and the hallways were numbered. At the end of the hallway, they had a big picture. It just seemed a little bit more to me like a nursing home. The hallways weren't as wide and bright. There were more people in wheelchairs than in the others I looked at. They had an ice cream parlor, an activity room, a TV room, and you could put your own decorations on your front door. The dining room seemed nice. They accept pets.
I chose Atria Weston Place for my dad. There are several reasons why I like Atria. First off, the floor plan is much easier to get around. Dad has a lot of trouble walking, so any place that is wheelchair accessible is on top of our list, and Atria was definitely that. The staff was very friendly and talks to us all the time. It seemed like you are going to get along with the people that works there more than anywhere else we visited. Their food was very impressive. They have a really good chef.
My great grandmother lives here and she loves this place .. Most of all the kind compassionate staff. She speaks highly of a lady name Teresa who i look forward to meeting very soon.

Finding our way to Arbor Terrace of Knoxville was the best thing that we could have done for my mother. After looking at many facilities in the area we chose Arbor Terrace for many reasons. But most of all it was the staff that made us feel right at home. Their warmth and generosity made the decision very easy. The care that is shown to my mother every minute is comforting to our family. I would recommend Arbor Terrace to any family looking for care of a loved one. The staff are our true angels!!

The experience of having a loved one living away from home and being cared for by people that you don't know can be a real challenge. This difficult situation was made easier because of personally knowing a dear lady that had been in the care of Windsor Gardens for number of months. There were only good reports of care and personal attention for her needs. When I made the visit to explore what they had to offer for our elderly aunt I liked the casual home like environment and the evidence of a caring staff present through out the facility. After almost 5 years I was never disappointed in the care and attention that our dear aunt received. Our aunt also came to love the people and made many friends and told everyone who asked that he food is great here and I have everything that I need and I love my room here. Anyone needing the care for a friend or family member in an assisted living setting should come in and talk with the staff at Windsor Gardens Assisted Living for what they can offer, I don't think you will be disappointed.
My mother was a resident at Windsor Gardens until her death in May of this year. She was exceptionally happy there. She loved the new friends she made and all the activities that were offered. The management and nursing staff are excellent. When she became ill this year, she received the best of care. She wanted for nothing. They were so attentive and kept us informed everyday about her Illness and her progress.. I can’t say enough good things about Windsor Gardens. If you are looking for a place that your loved one would be happy and well taken care of, Windsor Gardens is the place.
Windsor Gardens was my mother's home for three years. Tara Wallace is the best activities director I've ever seen!! There were countless activities and trips that were so beneficial. The staff and medical team were very kind and personable. She was always treated respectfully and as though they really loved her. Even the cleaning staff loved on her! Windsor Gardens went well beyond what was expected, as over time Mom's dementia made it increasingly difficult for her to care for herself. Our family will always be grateful.
