I chose Atria Weston Place for my dad. There are several reasons why I like Atria. First off, the floor plan is much easier to get around. Dad has a lot of trouble walking, so any place that is wheelchair accessible is on top of our list, and Atria was definitely that. The staff was very friendly and talks to us all the time. It seemed like you are going to get along with the people that works there more than anywhere else we visited. Their food was very impressive. They have a really good chef.

We almost moved into Manorhouse and we already made arrangements. And after we are making all arrangements to move in, they called back and said it’s going to be a thousand dollars a month more and there’s no way we can do that. We had friends of ours when we took the tour. I think they have a van that could take you out. We were really happy with it.

Echo Ridge was a very nice community, but I just couldn’t afford it. It was out of my price range. The grounds were very nice, the place was nice, and it could have been an ideal situation if I could have afforded it. The staff members were very nice and very interactive, and they all appeared to care about the residents and their job. The rooms were very nice. They were small, but at that point you probably don’t need all that much. The food was good, and they did offer 3 meals a day.
