3 Best Assisted Living Facilities in Tucson, AZ

I've been so impressed with The Fountains at La Cholla. My mom initially moved into Independent Living there, and then to Assisted Living. The staff have been nothing short of exceptional at every step of the process. From the servers in the dining room to the housekeepers to management and the Executive Director, I have had years and years of only positive experiences. Everyone knows my mom's name and her needs, and they greet me by name when I walk in the door. They have compassionately assisted my mom as her Alzheimer's disease has progressed, and have always made sure I have had every update. Special thanks go out to the amazing concierge, Carol, who has assisted my mom in taking care of her beloved cat - a task that she took on purely out of the goodness of her heart, her love for cats, and her love for my mom. We are now preparing to enter memory care: it's a difficult moment, and I have found great comfort in knowing that the same people who have helped her so brilliantly so far will continue along the journey with us. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I currently live in Texas. My mother lives in Tucson just in the past two or three weeks we desperately needed to get some paperwork, notarized very hard to do from such a distance, but Ashley Hayes the wellness director at this facility was the sweetest most helpful person anyone could ever hope for. She seems to truly care for all of the residence that live there and has their best interest in mind and wants to make sure their needs are met. If you’re thinking of placing a loved one in a retirement community, I would highly recommend this place your loved ones would be well taken care of.

The staff at The Fountains is wonderful and caring. One of the reasons we chose The Fountains independent living and the Fountains assisted living, The Inn, was because there is very little turnover in the staff. It is so important for my mom to see familiar faces, people who know her well and care about her. My mom loves the activities and outings. There is something interesting to do every day. She especially loves the musical events. She has a very nice apartment that is well-maintained. I don’t live in Tucson, so having my mom cared for by The Inn’s competent, kind, and caring staff gives me comfort. I am happy to recommend The Inn.

My wife and I love this place! Although, we don't live at Broadway Proper, we are regular entertainers there, and it is outrageously obvious how happy the residents are here! We play at lot of senior living facilities, but the residents here are the most lively, happy, engaged, dancing, singing group we've ever played for! The staff at Broadway Proper are no doubt lovingly involved with the residents here, and it shows through the outgoing and content demeanor and attitudes of those who live here.
