3 Best Hotels in Tucson, AZ

I’ve stayed here multiple times over the years and love it—but it’s not for everyone. The hotel has a great vibe—charming funky historic rooms (some might call them shabby chic) with comfortable beds, vintage bathrooms with deep tubs, wooden windows, creaky floors, etc. The club rooms can be loud depending on the night of the week. I recommend one of the other types of rooms for light to moderate sleepers. The location can’t be beat (the hotel is the heart of Tucson). And the Cup Cafe downstairs has excellent food/ambiance.

Second time visiting Tucson and staying at Hotel Congress. Historic hotel with nice upgrades that maintain that old western atmosphere. Plenty of entertainment with several bars to choose from and great restaurant. Convenient location for so many local venues within walking distance and free trolley to University of Arizona with many eateries to stop at. Music until 2 am so bring earplugs or come to party. Super place.

They do an amazing job of honoring the historical significance, while honoring modern day inclusivity. Amazingly caring and kind staff! Cup cafe is amazing, and they do a great job at throwing random events. Thanks everyone <3

I stayed at this hotel for a conference hosted at the venue. The location was a bit difficult without a car, requiring an Uber to get to most places in Tucson, and the flyovers by planes from the nearby airforce base were loud in the afternoon. However, everything else was pretty great. In particular, the service was really impeccable. Everyone, without exception, was courteous, thoughtful, and attentive, without being intrusive. The conference and catering/banquet staff did a fantastic job with a large group. Likewise, the new updated hotel restaurant, Javelina, was great, with well-trained staff and satisfying fare. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, with a large and family-friendly swimming pool, that also provided plenty of space for adults wishing to have splash-free relaxation. I would definitely recommend this establishment.

I’m writing this from my sister-in-law’s account since I don't have a google account set up here. So first off… what excellent customer this hotel offers its guests! I wanted to send a special shout out to Mario. We were already having a tough time with our trip where everything that could go wrong, went wrong. I called your hotel along with a few others and Mario was so polite, professional and understanding to our situation that I booked right away. Mario was more than willing to help us - even before making the reservation and finding out I was Dimond Member. He showed us, he really cared about the guests regardless of their status. Mario gave us excellent service and went above and beyond. Thank you Mario and all the staff for a great stay!

Stayed here for a work trip and was very satisfied. Room was clean. Bathroom was in great shape. The pool was nice too! Wish they had a bit more at the workout room, but the rest made up for it. Nice little bar in the lobby area to relax after a long day. Would definitely stay again if I am in the area.
