“Baked and Boiled is a women-owned and operated shop. Alex Pifer the owner and the chef of the shop. She was voted “Most Likely to Show Up with Bagels” by her class in The Career Academy for International Culture and Commerce at CHS. Baked & Boiled Bagels place an emphasis on seasonally and locally available ingredients, especially for their rotating, specialty bagels. Flavors such as Rosemary Sea Salt and Jalapeno Cheddar are available as the ingredients are in-season. The shop now works with local businesses to supply St. Louis with the best bagels the mid-west has to offer. Their flour blend of domestic, unbleached, and unbrominated flour includes Janie’s Mill Stone Ground flours. They also have a branch at Tower Grove Farmer’s Market.”
