CONTINENTAL BAKERY REVIEWS
i’ve never had a bakery experience even close to this one - positive remarks in every way - staff was so polite patient and helpful, the quality of the products are s-tier, and the decor and environment as truly one of a kind. my ONLY complaint is that i wish they would leave the egg wash off a small variety of their bagels so the plant-based community can enjoy what i’m sure is a phenomenal bagel.
On a recent trip to Birmingham I stopped here and became a fan at first bite! I first noticed the cute look of the bakery and appreciated the friendly staff inside. There were so many delicious looking treats to select from that I was indecisive. I ended up picking several treats including a mini carrot cake as well as a latte. I definitely will be making another visit when I return to Birmingham.
Lovely French bakery set in a quaint area of Birmingham. We chose various pastries that were all wonderful plus a latte and I grabbed some granola. Holy cow! The Lulu’s granola is amazing! Hoping they might ship out of state some day. HINT HInt.

EDGAR'S BAKERY REVIEWS
This was the first time we actually have eaten lunch at an Edgar’s. We have bought many bakery items from Bread, Cookies to whole cakes but never a lunch. I had the impression that all we would get chicken salad and other cold items. We were pleasantly surprised. They have a hot sandwich menu near the checkout with roughly the same prices as the cold. We ordered a Rueben sandwich and an Adult Grilled Cheese (Pimento and Cheese) with a side each. Service was very quick. We will eat there again.
Edgar's Bakery is so nice. I have had their sweets before but had never been in the store. The selection is incredible, they have so many options to choose from. They have lunch and breakfast items too. I saw some cute items for your home and great gifts ideas too. I got the orange roll, a slice of strawberry cake and a white chocolate mocha with almond milk. I am beyond pleased. I will definitely be back. Thanks Edgar's for brightening up my day.
This place is huge!!!! The assortment was simply enticing. Mane!! The cupcakes were priced reasonably and the taste was even better! I shall return on my next trip here! We bought enough to take back home.

BIRMINGHAM BREADWORKS REVIEWS
Delicious bread, tasty sandwiches and really nice staff. We stopped by here as I was dropping off my husband on the airport, but we had an hour to grab a quick lunch. The food was great, and the bread of course was excellent. The place had a cool and chill atmosphere, I think I'll come back more often in the future, especially if I'm just driving to Birmingham for an airport run.
Very neat place with decent prices, sufficient seating, and a little wait. They were out of the salmon for the smoked salmon toast, unfortunately. All the pastries looked so delicious, and everyone at the office loved the sticky buns for our sweets social. Will return and update review another time.
I really enjoyed lunch here waiting for my appointment and walked across the street and had an avocado BLT,coffee black and finished with a chocolate cookie! Delicious I enjoyed it and the atmosphere! Service was spot on and friendly! I’ll be back.
