Had a great experience at P.f. Chang’s today. Our hostess was transparent in informing us that the restaurant was short staffed and was kind as we waited. Our server went above and beyond to frequent our table, refilling our waters constantly and our food was brought out in a timely manner. The lettuce wraps are always phenomenal and the pan fried dumplings were a hit with everyone at the table. The lunch portions of the honey chicken, eggplant, and chicken and broccoli were plentiful and we left with leftovers!

Destiny is the best server!!! She made sure our food was good and our drinks were full!! She has the best personality!! Super sweet! The food was amazing!! Ken the manager is amazing!! He has super sweet and very caring about his guest! I will definitely be eating here again!!! The food is delicious!!

Loved our time here! Morgan was absolutely the best server, she took care of every need and put up with all of our shenanigans. The firecracker shrimp was delicious, everyone loved the Mongolian beef, and the pomegranate lemonade was perfectly sweet!

Absolutely 100% the best restaurant in Birmingham, Chinese or otherwise. The owner is so incredibly sweet, and she always remembers you when you return! She even knows my order (and my mom's order) by heart, and always remembers

I've been coming here for years. The lady who runs it is always so friendly no matter how busy they are. I love their delicious vegetarian dishes they may even have vegan options, but I'm not sure. Service is quick, and I love the location.

My favorite Chinese Restaurant... Ever. Love the food, love the people, love the atmosphere. Been patronizing them for decades.

GREAT WALL CHINESE RESTAURANT REVIEWS

This is a nice sit-down restaurant that also does take-out. We unintentionally showed up 30 minutes before they closed for their lunch period, but we asked if it would be alright to dine in, and they said yes. I appreciated that so I tipped pretty well for them being accommodating. Service was very attentive and the food came out quickly, which I expected since we came before they were supposed to close. I got the pork lo mein plate with steamed white rice, as well as an egg roll. The egg roll was a little bland in my opinion, but the lo mein was AMAZING! The white rice tasted nice, too. The amount of food was enough for at least two meals, so I took home leftovers as well. They reheated quite well. The inside of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful with the decorations and red seats. I would definitely come back here.

After some days in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and then Anderson and Clemson, South Carolina, where we encountered some of the most unpalatable food imaginable, it was such a pleasure to find Great Wall Chinese restaurant in Birmingham. It has been voted the best Chinese restaurant in Alabama, and with good reason. The food is real, authentic, and tasty. We had lamb with green chili, stir-fried rice cake with Napa cabbage, and braised dried bean curd sticks with black mushroom and tofu (all pictured below). Every dish was delicious, as were the pot stickers with which we began, and the amounts were so generous that we have a second take-out meal for tomorrow. Service was friendly, courteous, and prompt, and the atmosphere of the place very pleasant. I highly recommend it.

Going to dream about those wontons later. The service was incredible, and our waiter, Daniel, was super sweet. The ambiance is very nice and cozy. The glaze on my sesame chicken was unreal. Moved to the top of the ranks as far as Chinese restaurants go. But also top five for just any restaurant in Birmingham in my book. I’ll be back soon.
