TOP 3 PETER SCIORTINO BAKERY REVIEWS
I stopped here on fat Tuesday to pick up some paczkis The young lady who was working greeted me as I entered She quickly got the dozen paczkis together for me quickly I've never been to the actual shop before this vist but have had some of the bakery previously and always have heard great things about them Definitely would come to vist again.
My favorite bakery for years. They have the BEST breads/rolls of anyone in Milwaukee. And their Italian cookies, biscotti and cannoli always leave me wanting more. It's a family owned and operated business, which in my book is always a plus. They also have ham and roll deals on Sunday morning, as well as a punch card for a free loaf of bread after purchasing so many.
Fantastic family baker in the city. Wide selection of treats and snack. Really kind service. Great food.

TOP 3 AMARANTH BAKERY & CAFÉ REVIEWS
This bakery is located in the ghetto( for lack of a better word). I mentioned location so those who chose to visit will know they are in the right place. It is a very clean and well kept bakery. I visited on a late Saturday morning. I purchased everything that was available except brownies and cinnamon rolls. croissant, sandwich with cranberry chutney, open face brioche with toppings, key lime tart, scone and a few others I can't remember the name of. I was everything was pretty impressive. The tart had a delicious flaky Sable Breton crust with a sweet key lime filling. The scone was the best I had ever tasted not too dry or moist, just right. The bread served with the turkey and cranberry chutney was quit divine right amount of push back when squeezed, can't believe I didn't bring a loaf back home with me. If your'e in the Milwaukee area or live there do stop by and give this bakery a try.
This place is the best! Incredible bakery treats! I only wish they could change their hours and be open on Sundays!!! Sunday is the day for relaxing with family that includes breakfast lunch brunch dinner and all of that should have Amaranth Bakery with it. THANK YOU.
Really lovely cafe with great lunch options and bakery items. After your visit, make sure to visit Franciscan Peacemakers next door.

TOP 3 GREBE'S BAKERY REVIEWS
I'm about a dozen and found it's Easily one of the best donut locations of my life. Which is a big statement because I've had a lot of gourmet excellent donuts throughout the Midwest and East Coast. I don't know how they do it but the donuts are super fluffy moist and taste excellent not too sweet not to stiff it's just perfect. I'm going to easily drive an hour to get donuts to this place. I really can't wait to come back and try more. Maybe try some cake or something that I never had before.
Grebe's bakery is a Milwaukee treasure. I have alwayed loved the Grebe's bakery that you get in many of the stores around town. I don't know how they make their crullers so good. And the thing about the crullers is that they get better with time. I actually like them as they get harder. The ladies behind the counter were pleasant, helpful and efficient (and at 6:00 in the morning). All fresh bakery items. You can get hot breakfast foods and sandwiches too.
This is quite the place, best Crullers ever, also excellent apple fritters. Offered us a free cruller when we mentioned that this was our first visit. We also bought some rolls which we took home and used for sandwiches and the rolls were perfect, there was a slight crisp to the crust that really made the rolls unique.
