Had a lunch here today, which was fantastic. We haven’t been to Botanas in a really long time and we’re driving through the side of town. Our server was Roberto and he was amazing. We had steak fajitas and chicken and pork enchiladas. and the food was excellent. But highly recommend eating here again.

Was a late afternoon meal but still got two lunch specials. Soft drinks, soup (excellent) enchiladas and two tacos was $28. Fair price for a great meal. Of course they had chips and salsa also. Zero complaints.

Great lunch specials. Atmosphere is cozy. Large restaurant that handles a few tables on a cold winter day and a full restaurant with an outside eating area well. Excellent food.

We were just finishing up as the mariachi band was starting, they were so good, too! SUCH a familiar reminder of a true Mexican restaurant. An atmosphere after my own heart. The chips were homemade and fresh, the salsa was on point. We ordered the birria tacos, they had tons of meat on them and were delicious. I loved that they came with rice and beans, a must have side when dining Mexican style. Dafne was our server and she was friendly, pleasant, and attentive. I personally thought the overall prices were higher than I like, BUT ... you get what you pay for, so we left satisfied customers and would return if we are in the area. ESPECIALLY at dinner time to enjoy the band!

Love El Beso!! My friends and I go there regularly. Both locations have outdoor seating, though the Layton El Beso has a giant beautiful waterfall with Ko Fish swimming around. The food is always fabulous but the margaritas are outstanding! I'm crazy for the Wild Berry Margarita but all of them are top notch. Servers are always kind and fast. There's not a thing I can say that's bad, except, perhaps a dimmer light in the bar area would be appreciated.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally did with my daughters. The staff were amazing, super nice and our waiter was great! Everything from the salsa and chips to the tacos & burritos to the rice and beans was amazing! I can’t wait to come again to try out more food!

Food was great and cooked right. Waitress was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The margaritas were real good. Really liked how welcoming the place was, very friendly ambiance.

This is our GO TO for authentic Mexican food in Milwaukee! Truly, it doesn't get better than this. The variety of dishes is unique and plentiful, service is very friendly and fast, and everything is incredibly fresh and tasty! Delicious Margaritas as well. Definitely a hidden gem.

Food is delicious, a little pricey but worth it. The staff was pleasant. Food came out very quickly.
