Blue Pit BBQ is a treasure in Baltimore! Not only is the BBQ incredible (AND they have jackfruit for vegetarians!), the drinks and the staff are too. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the owners Cara and Bruce are big community supporters and pillars in the neighborhood. Go, bring your dog, get the mac & cheese, you will not be disappointed.

Really tasty BBQ and good sized portions. The brisket was so tender and all the sauces added some great flavor. Friendly service and nice atmosphere as well. My dog even got a bandana! Highly recommend.

Classic bbq joint. Great meats, beans, and slaw. Very dog friendly and they even gave my dude a souvenir!

If you're looking for BBQ....This is the place! OMG so good!!!! We had pulled pork, ribs and brisket. Cooked perfectly. Their variety of sauces are above and beyond. The baked beans and Mac and cheese were amazing! Everything tasted so fresh. The girl who took our oulrdee was friendly and willing to help with questions. I wish managers at other restaurants were as friendly as Jermaine. Him alone is a reason to return.

Stopped in here while on a business trip to the DC area. Honestly, being from the Midwest, I was not expecting barbecue this good in this portion of the states. I had the brisket sandwich, mac & cheese, and hand cut fries, all of which were excellent. All of their barbecue sauces were very good as well.

Awesome great food, great place and employees, went there after my church had it catered and had the awesome food at our party. Will be going back soon.
