SWEET LUCY'S SMOKEHOUSE REVIEWS

I finally found an amazing BBQ spot in Philly—Sweet Lucy's! I heard about it through the Food Network and Chef Alex. We placed our order online this time, but we'll definitely dine in next time because the ambiance looks great. The staff was super friendly, and we didn’t have to wait long for our pickup. We ordered two "Double the Fun" plates with brisket, kielbasa, pulled chicken, and an extra pound of kielbasa. All the meats were fantastic, especially the kielbasa, but what really stood out were the sides and dessert. The mac and cheese and creamy spinach were our favorites, but the mashed potatoes with gravy and collard greens were just as good. The cornbread was excellent—definitely a must-try! The chocolate chip banana bread pudding was flavorful and absolutely scrumptious, while the s’mores pie was also pretty good. After the meal, we were so stuffed we practically passed out—it’s been a while since we’ve eaten like that! We can't wait to come back and try even more. IG: journey_man16.

I love this place. Foods always good, staff is great, places is always clean. Ribs and brisket are awesome. The smores pie is delicious to finish it off! Love the they offer so many things on the side. (Pickles, peppers, honey butter,ect) mac n cheese is the best I've ever had.

Great BBQ, not greasy or heavy. Had no problem digesting. I am digestive challenged. Normally would even try a BBQ place. Good quality meats not a lot of grease in food. Definitely recommend.

Man the happy hour here and atmosphere during the spring/summer is absolutely fabulous. This place is a favorite of my partner and I’s- and the food here is so so freaking good! Our chicken legs were a little late to coming out (and I checked in just for timing), yet the manager came out and gave us complimentary cookies! We weren’t upset at all, just checking in the time of delivery for the food- we love it here! The chicken legs are the best too - def come check this place out!

Delicious filling comfort food for great prices, yummy drinks, fast service and a really nice open space with lots of different types of seating to choose from. deff check out their happy hour as well!

Wow what a place ! Super cute, very friendly and amazing food. A must if in the city. Get there when they open. By time we sat in half the room was full. Can’t wait to go back in the summer for the outside seating !

Mikes BBQ is a must for locals and tourists. The food was absolutely incredible, and far exceeded the hype I’ve been hearing for years. I got the brisket cheesesteak - a delicious and unique take on a classic. Not a traditional cheesesteak, in all the best ways possible. Also best smoked brisket I’ve had in Philly. The chicken cheesesteak is also unlike any other I’ve had, in the best way possible. Deep fried skin gives a little crunch. Both sandwiches were huge - great value also, not overpriced like so many. They heap the meat on. (Who wouldn’t love that) The onion rings were also a big order, 10+ rings probably, and perfectly crispy, great batter. Also got to chat with the owner - seemed like a genuinely great guy and business owner. I will be coming back to try everything this chef makes.

I was recommend this place by a friend and it did not disappoint! To start the staff was very friendly and even recommended some of their favorite items. The food was incredible! I truly do not believe there is a better bbq spot in the state of PA. I could eat the wings and pulled pork all day. The homemade chips were a nice, delicious touch too. I will definitely come back here soon.

We thought we ordered too much, but devoured almost everything. Really satisfied our meat cravings. Everything we ordered was delicious, even the sides. Great little bbq place, very tasty and flavorful.
