TOP 3 JOHN'S ROAST PORK REVIEWS
A local friend recommended that we stop here for an authentic cheesesteak. We went early to beat the crowds. There is a small area of covered seating and an additional outdoor picnic tables. For the cheesesteak, I liked that they cook and mix the cheese in the meat so it doesn't just sit on the top. I like that you can get the steak and cheese with sharp provolone. I was surprised how much I loved the roasted pork sandwich with spinach and sharp provolone. I think I liked that sandwich more. Makes sense... roast pork is in the name of the place.
When I always visit the city of Brotherly love, I always stop for a cheesesteak. Today, I went to this iconic place and this is hands down the best cheesesteak In Philadelphia! I want to come back again and also try the roast pork sandwich.
This was the best thing we ate in Philly. The bread was so soft and everything just went together so well! It was the best Philly cheesesteak I’ve had! A definite must in Philadelphia.

TOP 3 CLEAVERS REVIEWS
Wow, such a great spot for lunch. The food was amazing. When you walk in, there are self-service kiosks everywhere, or you can order at the counter. This was great at helping people get their orders taken quickly and their food quickly. They were really busy and we went in with a party of 8 and we had our food within 15-20 min. The food was incredible, and it is worth your time to stop by. They also had very clean restrooms for their customers, which after walking around all day was nice.
Food served fresh and hot. The amount of meat and cheese was perfect. The Philly cheese steak tasted as expected and the size was good compared to price. Went there on the weekend so it was not that busy. There's room for improvement on customer service. Recommended for small to medium size groups. They have two floors and also different sitting arrangements. Parking: Roads are busy so plan ahead if you are planning to park.
Perfect night cap with a bunch of friends visiting from out of town. Good taste of Philly! I loved my Buffalo chicken cheese steak with mushrooms. Would recommend both that and the regular cheesesteak with American as well.

Everybody argues about which cheesesteak is best, but this is definitely delicious. Our tour guide recommended this place because she lives in the neighborhood. I’m so glad I stopped in. It was juicy and cheesy and definitely worth a stop. The portion size is huge and definitely enough for two people. Every single person in the place took half their sandwich home. I ordered the cheesesteak with onions and Cooper Sharp and American and mushrooms and bell peppers. I’d probably skip the bell peppers next time. Service was so friendly.
Went on a road trip to philly, walked in was greeted by the waitress took our order and we chatted about the history of the place ,they were all really nice and the food was out quick and delicious highly recommend if near market st!.
