3 Best Chinese Restaurants in Philadelphia, PA

I spent 3 nights in Philadelphia. This was the least expensive dinner I had and it was far and above the best! I had the Spicy Peppercorn Chicken with Peanuts and the XO Dry Sautéed String Beans with Minced Pork. Excellent! The peppercorn chicken was indeed spicy had just above the right amount of heat for me. And I finished it. I loved it. The green beans were super fresh and prepared to perfection and oh so flavorful. I wish we would have visited Sang Kee Peking Duck House the first night, we would have eaten here for every meal. Service was very friendly, appropriately attentive and professional. I can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu. Highly recommended.

Came to try Sang kee recently and absolutely loved it, my sister and I have been here twice within the past week or so. The atmosphere is friendly and service is great. Each dish we tried was absolutely delicious. Peking duck is a must try. The duck is cooked to perfection and has fantastic flavor. We also enjoyed the general tso’s tofu, Dan Dan noodles, and edamame dumplings. Everything was fantastic. This is one of my favorite spots to get a good dinner. Would recommend to anyone interested and will definitely be returning.

I've had peking duck on my bucket list of foods to try for a while so I was excited to finally come here while I was in the area. It's a busy area but it felt very chill and easy going once you walk in. I ordered the half peking duck with bao buns and hot tea. The skin was crunchy and the meat was super tender. I also enjoyed the sauce that accompanied it and the julienned spring onions. The onions added a nice crunch and bite while the sauce added a little richness and sweetness to it. The buns made for some great duck sandwiches, and I left with a full belly. The prices were a tad high but I'd say it was a pretty good experience.

This genuinely might be one of my new favorite places to eat, not only in Chinatown but in Philly. My mother and I came here this past Saturday for lunch and we both agreed that every single dish we ordered was FANTASTIC. It was one of the best meals I’ve had. I’ve always wanted to try a hand drawn noodle house and I am so glad this place was my first impression of one!! We shared a scallion pancake and vegetable dumplings as appetizers. SO GOOD. My mother got the Szechuan Cold Noodles as her main and I got the Beef Brisket Noodle Soup. AMAZING. The portions are quite generous and the prices are so reasonable. Can’t wait to come back.

First off this place is cash only. Do not even think of going there without cash. If it is busy, they will see you with other groups at the same table. This is just because it’s a very busy spot, especially during busy times. With those two things in mind, I always know the food is going to be great and I have been here twice in a week to eat. Both times it was the same. It was excellent. The service was excellent and the food absolutely tasted exactly the same as before. Raised beef noodle soup is a great choice as is the saliva chicken And scallion pancake. Next time I’ll try the shaved noodle, but the hand-drawn noodle is absolutely stellar with great chew and lots of bounce and not overcooked.

DELICIOUS noodles, friendly staff, and cash only! Ordered the dumpling sample platter and the beef noodle soup. Favorite dumplings would be the chicken and mushroom, and the classic pork and chive. The sample plate also featured a chicken curry dumpling but I would skip that next time.
