Dim Sum Garden is a BYOB Chinese fixture that offers a range of dumplings, plus classic rice & noodle meals in a sleek space. Chef Shizhou Da came to the US with an original recipe for Xiao Long Bao Chinese steamed soup dumplings. She is the fifth generation of the original chef who created China's first Xiao Long Bao and has over 30 years of experience making new, traditional Shanghai-style homemade dim sum. Dim Sum Garden specializes in dim sum, particularly the legendary pork soup dumplings. The rest of the long book-sized picture menu includes many of the same items you'll see in any other dim sum spot, such as pork with sauce noodles, spicy beef, and dry-fried string beans. Customers can try a bite of Shanghai-style dim sum at Dim Sum Garden.

Han Dynasty Sichuan offers great Chinese eats plus late-night street-food menu served in luxurious digs with high ceilings. It is a part of a local mini-empire of sizzling Szechuan goodness. Han Dynasty has the bonus of a glam dining room in an old bank building. It is an old, ornate building with a long bar where you can sit and watch whatever the sporting games happen to be. Han Dynasty Sichuan restaurant has the favorite Sichuan food in the city, and you can order a whole lot of it for about $25. Must try out the dan dan noodles, which is a famous dish here. Han Dynasty also has a branch in University City.
