3 Best Cafe in Atlanta, GA

've enjoyed many meals at the OK Cafe through the years. And, although it's been awhile since my last visit, not a thing has changed. The ladies are very service oriented, dressed neatly in the old style diner attire, the food is cooked to perfection, and service is prompt and courteous. What more could one expect? This morning my Little Princess and I enjoyed some great coffee, tomato juice, a chicken sandwich with their most wonderful fries, a ham and cheese omelet with potatoes and onions. A most enjoyable dining experience. I'm sure many a traveler up and down I-75 haven't a clue what they are missing when they pass by!

It’s an excellent place to eat. The service was great. Wendy and Rosa were excellent after I got seated they were helpful with the menu options just an excellent touch of customer service. Jay, the manager, has built an excellent team that enjoys working together. This restaurant has great atmosphere and dining experience and authentic comfort food. I cannot stress enough how Great the Food and Service is.

Great place, great service, great prices, great food. We have never had a bad experience here and their staff is excellent. More than once we have wondered how they get so many good employees. And they use quality ingredients.

The menu takes classic Southern breakfast staples and elevates them with creative, flavorful touches. Everything I tried tasted incredibly fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Whether it was the fluffy biscuits, perfectly seasoned grits, or the seasonal veggie hash, every bite was full of flavor without feeling heavy. And the coffee? Absolutely amazing. Their crafted coffee drinks go far beyond the basics—you can tell they take pride in quality beans and balanced blends. Sun in my Belly nails that perfect balance of comfort and creativity. It’s a must-visit if you’re into fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and a breakfast that feels both familiar and new.

Enjoyed a brunch on their outdoor patio. While the outdoor seating is along a street, it was not a busy Saturday. There were more bicycles than cars going by and very little noise. Coffee drinks were served quickly and were tasty. The bloody Mary was served with okra, decent sized and well spiced. The lavender was evident in the lavender latte, but not so much in the lavender biscuit; the vegetarian gravy was very good but overpowered any subtle flower notes. All dishes were enjoyable and filling without being oversized. Beet couscous was interesting and would like to have tried it warm versus the cold serving.

This is my favorite brunch spot in Kirkwood. The menu is diverse. The staff is so on top of it and kind. And best of all the food is VERY fresh and plated beautifully.
