TOP 3 THE HUDSON CAFE REVIEWS
A lot of breakfast with lunch options in a little space. Not a place to recommend for a lot of people in your party due to their space available. One must reserve to be guaranteed a space. The website doesn't tell you that you can park for free at 25 State Street with the QR code in the restaurant. They accommodate little ones on their menu as well. They have a la carte items to complete your meal. If buying certain breakfast items that don't come with the common item be ready to buy them, if hungry enough or accustomed to them with your meal. They carry more than pork items in their menu and vegetarian items as well. This was my first visit and will not be my last! My server Phil was great with suggestions. So feel free to ask them for ideas or desires. The manager/owner checked by often to validate our meal/dining experience and they were busy! Food was delightful, tasty and cooked well. Parking: Parking structure is easy to pass and is tight for suv+. You can park there but be mindful that not everyone knows how to park with consideration of others when you pick a spot. Validation for parking is in the restaurant (idk if that is all the time). The downtown location stays open until 3 daily.
This café is here to satisfy your deviant breakfast cravings! Make a reservation because there are countless little devils looking to sink their teeth into the immaculate French toast! Douse that powdered delectable in warm maple syrup and pair it with a coffee for complete ecstasy!
Food was great besides the dry ham I got said thick cuts was very thin and dried out quickly. Service was amazing my waiter was Phil and made sure I was taking care of at all times. The decor was nice and pleasant.

TOP 3 DIME STORE REVIEWS
The Dime Store is located inside the Chrysler House. For a small fee, you can park in the Financial District Garage. I went on a Sunday around 11am. It was very busy with an hour wait. I was eating alone so I could eat at the counter with no wait! The service and food were good. There was a very lively crowd. This place appears to be quite popular. The portion sizes were good as well. I would definitely return!
It was worth the 30 minute wait. The atmosphere was nice but not memorable or special. The food was amazing. I had the BLTE and it was fantastic. The fresh cut fries were also amazing. My brother in law had the waffles affogato. Those were amazing as well. Definitely a great spot to hit for brunch.
We had the Eggs Benedict on thick cut Brioche toast with marrow Detroit ham & Gruyere with a Mornay sauce and it was excellent. The accompanying breakfast potatoes were good and the Mimosas were spot on. The service was top notch and the atmosphere very lively. It's a definite must try.

TOP 3 AVALON WOODWARD REVIEWS
When you enter, you queue up in line to order your food. Once ordered, you find an empty table where they bring out your food. If you ordered a coffee, or a cocktail you do have to stay pretty close to the counter at the bar to hear your order being called out. The food tastes pretty great, and no complaints from myself or the 2 others I dined in with. Solid place to check out if you're in the area.
One of my faves of downtown with a prime view of Woodward. Whether it’s lunch or brunch, food is always amazing here. I especially love that the menu includes monthly variations with specials. Their mocha can’t be beat! Enjoyed traditional eggs Benedict and my partner had a beautiful spinach salad.
Avalon was a great cafe to visit! The food was delicious and the drinks were amazing. The service was fast and friendly. With plenty of seating and a welcoming atmosphere, Avalon makes it so easy to enjoy your time!
