My husband and I came here today and I had gotten the goat kurma with a side of garlic naan and oh my goodness it was so good! Also the service was amazing, the lady running the cash register had very good hospitality, showed us where everything was and even offered us complimentary tea. 10/10 would go here again.

Just absolutely fantastic food and wonderful service. We ordered two dishes of the Lamb Vindaloo and one Chicken Curry. They were perfect. I got the medium+ spice and my son got the medium spice. Mine was about as much heat as I could handle and it was perfect. This place is a must go.

Love stopping here from time to time to grab delicious food. Highly recommend the garlic naan and chicken biryani. Cooked perfectly every time. Chicken is flavorful and juicy, bread always fresh. So good!

i loveee midnight temple ! it’s the best indian food in the area and i don’t live in detroit but have come here at different times with all my friends. every dish has been fire, all the servers are so nice, and the bartender is so friendly (and serves up great drinks). this restaurant hands down has the best music and atmosphere as well. i recommend the $5 mango lassi, shrimp manchurian, lamb vindaloo, and fish curry. they’re so friendly and have curated a great place to dine and relax with your community.

WHAT A VIBE!! We dined at Midnight Temple yesterday, and we will absolutely be back! We enjoyed the margarita, Kerala mule, kingfisher beers, and ordered cauliflower Manchurian, pani puri, the okra, gobi, chicken curry, chicken biryani, and the lamb shank for 4 people to share - all were delicious. The food and service were great, and the vibe and visuals were SO fun and aesthetically, this place couldn’t be cooler. We were pleased to meet the owner and his family! We will absolutely be back! T

The best Indian food around. Call ahead or order online, but be sure to ask for a hot tea while you wait. The waits can be a little long and the portions could be a tiny bit bigger, but it's so good you'll forgot all about that. Be sure to try all the different types of naan available to scoop up the extra sauce in your butter chicken. Vegetarians, check out the navrtan korma!

I have tried a good number of Indian restaurants in my last two years here in Detroit metropolitan area, so far I have found Star of India as one the best and definitely among my top choice restaurant. Delicious food. Courteous staff. Would recommend it.

I came here with a friend while we were exploring the area. I love Indian food, and this place didn't disappoint. We came just before dinner, so we basically had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The service was quick, and the food was delicious and authentic. Highly recommend!
