Highly recommend this lovely company! The chimney check crew were so helpful and great about explaining the issues. I knew there were issues and needed a plan. At the next visit, (step one), the owner was the one to come and said the wood stove insert I planned would save me the first step. No charge, just a revised estimate that really helped! Family owned and such a pleasure to work with. Excellent services and fair prices.

Early to appointment and did a a thorough job leaving no mess behind. Will be using them for all our dryer vent needs in future.

The gentleman that worked on my fireplace was timely and professional. He took extra care to ensure there was no mess on my cream colored rug. I know feel like my fireplace is save to use. I would highly recommend Mad Hatter for fireplace repairs, cleaning and safety checks.

BJ'S CHIMNEY AND FIREPLACES REVIEWS

The crew at BJ's is top-notch. From the very bigging when my unique project was in the brainstorming and planning phase, they were so very helpful. The crew showed up and showed out. They converted a 1962 wood burning fireplace into a modern radiant gas log fireplace with a very clever retrofit that met codes properly. The existing chimney, which wasn't up to code, was demolished, and the new dual intake/exhaust pipe was installed in its place. The final product looks great , and they kept clean and tidy throughout the 3 day process. They were great with our dogs and very respectful of our space. I highly recommend BJ's.

This is the second time we’ve used BJ’s and will continue to use them! Had them come out to inspect and clean our chimney. The technician was very nice and thorough, too. He even played along with our 3 year old who asked him a million questions and tried to help him with every one of his tools. They always do great work.

They did a great job inspecting and sweeping our chimney. The guy that came out also took some extra time to look over my other fireplace because I had some questions. I thought it was a fair price.
