CHURCH OF THE HIGHLANDS REVIEWS
If you’re looking for a church or -even better- some connections with people than CoftH is imo the best pick. It’s a mega church but with all the small groups (and they have many to choose from) it feels like being home. The doctrine and the teaching is sound, bible based and not complicated. The worship is amazing and I have seen a lot of churches but this is the best experience you can have; you experiences God Himself (no words needed no more) There is a main campus (Grants Mill) but they have over 20 different locations across the state of Alabama and a few in the state of Georgia.
I have been attending for about 6 months now. Was out of church for years. I didn't expect to not only feel at place here, even with such a large congregation. The pastors and speakers have good teaching and my favorite sermon to date was one at the end of May about how Jesus and Peter reconciled their relationship together after Jesus had to rebuke something Peter said. I learn things here and see a side to the scripture that I haven't during my entire early life going to church. God bless this church.
If you're looking for a church where you can be yourself and feel God's love without having to pretend to be perfect, this is the right place for you. In a church where people don't judge each other, you can be honest and show your true self, just as God made you.

SIXTEENTH STREET BAPTIST CHURCH REVIEWS
Very heart felt from the moment I step out my car onto this property. Just to think of what happened to these children for no reason, other than the hate in others heart for people of a different color. In a place you would think you are safe. Read the stories behind this landmark of history.
A very interesting Church with a lot of history. Buy tickets beforehand and be sure to wear masks. If you don't have them they will give them to you. They pass you off from guide to guide as they go over what happened there in the 60s. The four little girls who killed will never be forgotten.
What a wonderful experience I had visiting this historically beautiful church where Martin Luther King Jr was a pastor in. Everything had this holy and nostalgic feeling and everyone was so kind and welcoming to me.

The Cathedral of Saint Paul is one of the most historical churches in Birmingham. The church's main entrance has a central statue of Christ above the doors. The baptismal font stands at the entrance of the church, serving as a reminder to those entering that Baptism is the gateway to faith and the life of the Church. Upon entry, individuals dip their hands in the Holy Water and mark themselves anew with the sign of the Cross, the symbol of their baptism. The Cathedral of Saint Paul is broadly considered a handsome example of the American variation of the neo-gothic style. Their Gothic architecture is philosophically Christian in its determined verticality; the gothic structure pulls the eye to heaven and inspires the mind to lofty thoughts. The church's strong contrast of color on the Cathedral’s exterior, with the native red brick and white limestone of the walls, and the polychromatic banding in the slate roof and show the taste of the international gothic revival of the 1870s. The main entrance has a central statue of Christ above the doors. There are two confessionals: one located immediately to the left upon entering through the central doors to the nave and one down the right aisle, near the statue of Saint Joseph.

THE CATHEDRAL OF SAINT PAUL REVIEWS
Come enjoy the Neo Gothic architecture in this side of the Atlantic. These place is a true jewel in the city. Beyond the many religious activities they also have a concert program and on the second Sunday of every month you can come up and see the pipe organ (check website for details). If you are in town, allow your self the chance to enjoy this beautiful place.
As soon as I walked into the beautifully breathtaking cathedral I was struck with a powerful sense of awe. The sanctuary is like some wonderfully preserved antiquity from the heart of Italian cathedrals. All the details are stunning and note-worthy. If you are fortunate to attend an event (such as a wedding or baptism) at the cathedral, I suggest you arrive early to view the gardens, property, and the cathedral.
As you enter the church you love the atmosphere and good vibes inside. Rev Bishop and the priests are very warm and humble. Great place for a good Holy Mass and to adore the holy Eucharist.
