St. Joseph Cathedral is a magnificent Catholic Parish in downtown San Diego. The parish was established in 1874, and the first sanctuary was a building under the leadership of Father Antonio at Third and Beech constructed in 1875. The church offers its visitors from outside of San Diego a special welcome, and all are welcome here in the spirit of St. Joseph. They are honored that you have chosen to join them here in Downtown San Diego to worship and serve. The cathedral also hosts performances by the San Diego Chamber Orchestra and other classical groups.
