SMASH DANCE STUDIO REVIEWS

SMASH has been apart of my life since I was a sophomore in High school. I am now 33 years old. As a teenager I got to lead the dance team. Helped my mom late and early mornings. Got to see and experience the life of an entrepreneur. Things I will remember, do, teach, and continue to learn forever. Now I am honored to be the director of the Project SMASH Las Vegas Chapter. Where hundreds of kids are learning what entrepreneur means. “A person who creates and manages a business.” We are blessed to be teaching kids & adults fitness, dance, musical theater, financial literacy, and be food distributors. WE ARE HERE TO SERVE OTHERS. My mother, Lisa Valdes has done an amazing job, has set and still sets an amazing example, and has helped hundreds of thousands of families in Las Vegas and San Antonio. Now my daughter is watching, learning, and apart of this positive movement as well she is now 9. She is Watching her grandmother (Lisa) and her mother (myself) teach Fit to heal and Dance to heal classes as a positive outlet for low income communities, rehabilitation centers, shelters, and schools. Our family & business is non competitive, humble, fruitful, caring, loving. We fight against obesity, poverty, depression, anxiety, low self esteem, and together with God in the forefront to do our part with all our heart, soul, passion, and mind. Fully doing what The Lord has called us to do. No matter what we endure WE WILL finish what the Lord has required from us.

I have the privilege of teaching at smash and absolutely love teaching there. I’ve been teaching at SMASH since 2019 and it has only been a positive experience. Lisa’s vision for giving back to the community is so evident in everything she does. With her leadership skills and giving heart it makes SMASH such a welcoming experience. There truly isn’t a studio similar to hers (in all the good ways). Thank you for letting me be apart of the SMASH family and for teaching me new ways to be a better instructor.

My daughter has been in the tiny ballet program for the last year. She loves it and they are so patient with the kids and make it about having fun, which is what I was looking for in a class for her.

My daughter attends the jazz, ballet and tap classes here and I absolutely love the staff and instructor. We enrolled her into the classes earlier in 2017 because of a promotion they were offering ($125 for 8 classes). We were not planning on going further than the 8 classes but my daughter expressed how much she loved the lessons and wanted to continue after the 2017-2018 school year started in August. So my husband and I enrolled her into the year long classes and she's definitely maturing her love for dancing. If you are looking for a great dance studio, I would definitely suggest Kathy Marfin's Dance School.

We have had such an awesome experience at Kathy Marfin's dance school. The teachers and staff are very friendly and professional. My daughter has just completed her fourth year at KMDS and we couldn't be more pleased! Her love of dance is nurtured at this studio. All the instructors are very talented and really care about their dancers. They not only teach phenomenal technique but they make the classes fun for their students. I highly recommend this school.

This was the first dance school that my daughter attended when she was 4. I love the see through window. It gave me peace of mind. She loves her teacher. She is caring and strict (in a good way). They instill discipline in the dance class they are taking. The front desk staff are wonderful.

My daughter has been dancing since she was 3 at a few different local places. Our previous studio was bought by Trilogy and I found them to be professional and very organized. She was warmly welcomed into their competitive team, Insight Dance Ensemble, and has a great team of good kids who are supportive of each other. A lot is expected, but a lot is given; the teachers are caring and fun, love the kids, praise and push them, and guest choreographers and master class instructors are true industry pros with tons of experience. We love our dance family.

My daughters have been dancing at Trilogy for the past 6 years and they continue to grow as dancers from the excellent training and the love and attention the teachers give to each student. Trilogy is particularly great at training well-rounded dancers with focus in all areas of dance. Their pre-professional competitive teams, Beyond the Barre and Insight Dance Ensemble, provide additional opportunities for more focused training and growth as well as experience in team competitions and conventions with some of the most world-renowned dance instructors. We love Trilogy and are thankful for the joy it brings to our dancers.

Trilogy, by far, is one of the best studios in San Antonio. The staff's skills and dance technique are at the highest levels and the studio brings in choreographers who are at the top of the dance industry. The owner, Ronda, has a core mission to develop not only dance skills, but the overall human in our kids, focusing on leadership and life skills. She is a principled-based leader and is an inspiration to students, staff and the San Antonio community.
