Brackenridge Park is an excellent place for families and kids to walk the dog, stroll through the trees, feed the ducks along the San Antonio River, or enjoy a picnic on the lawn. Three pavilions are available for rent for company picnics, family reunions, or other important events. The park also offers free parking.

We visited Brackenridge Park last weekend. It was my first visit to this lovely park. We came out to fish. Not only does the river run through the park, but there are hiking trails, playgrounds and pavilions to use. I believe the pavilions have to be requested and I’m not sure if there is a cost involved. Such a nice park. I’m definitely going back and taking my dog with me to check out the trails. Last weekend I fished while I was at the park. I did t catch anything but it was fun just to get outdoors in nature.

Absolutely stunning! Just one thing that scared us. Behind the big concrete thing that we went up to see, there is a homeless man living there. He scared my husband and I.

HEMISFAIR REVIEWS

This park offers a variety of activities, including a splash pad, playground, swings, and ping pong, and has places to sit and relax. Beautiful views, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, also on weekends they offer fun events and festivals.

Wow, what a view. The food was excellent. The drinks are really good. The service was awesome. $20 to park, if you don't have a reservation don't worry the bar section you can still get food and drink and your one floor higher. Definitely worth for the view. Make sure you check it out. Unless your afraid of heights.

Hemisfair in San Antonio was perfect for our 25th anniversary celebration with amazing food and special treatment. Special moments and great memories.

WOODLAWN LAKE PARK REVIEWS

Very nice park is got a mile track around a massive lake thats open with ducks wandering around. It has many activities like a well maintained basketball court, tennis court, open gym and a playground. In the summer it has a pool. Its got a good amount of people jogging with dogs a nice get away.

Still one of the most enjoyable multi-use outdoor communities of the Alamo City. May be wise to carry protective devices for yourself, children, and dogs due to the undisciplined, untrained dogs that exhibit vicious tendencies while leashed. Late night walk well- illuminated.

Our first visit to this park and our granddaughter love it. This park has a big playground!! The lake has all kinds of birds and we even saw a turtle out for a walk. We notice a picnic area with overhead cover. Plenty of room to run and have fun!
