Heart of Gold DJs

Working with Heart of Gold DJs, specifically DJ Christie, was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Christie was completely delightful in our meetings prior to the wedding, but she SHONE the day of! Wedding DJs can feel cheesy and obtrusive or sometimes not directive enough to keep things moving but Christie was an AMAZING MC! She made sure the mics were set up seamlessly for our ceremony, for speeches during dinner, and the music was ON POINT!!! Everyone stayed till the bitter end dancing and we all had such an amazing time. Seriously cannot recommend Christie and this team enough.

You MUST hire Heart of Gold DJs for your next event! We had the honor of working with Whit the DJ who instantly connected to our music taste. She was very organized from the start, really got to know us as a couple and the vibe we were going for. She was quick to offer sound for our vows and support our performer for the ceremony as well. The highest complement to Whit the DJ: the dance floor never emptied ALL NIGHT! She read the room perfectly and seamlessly wove in all our requests. She catered to older guests with classic funk and transitioned into Bay Area Rap without skipping a beat. We couldn't be more grateful for all the time and effort she put into making our wedding day awesome.

We worked with DJ Christie for our wedding. She was amazing! We had a couple meetings together ahead of time to pick must play songs, do not play songs, and get a general vibe. She managed audio for us throughout both the ceremony and reception, including toasts, music, speeches... including some folks who had to join remotely due to COVID. Everything went amazingly smoothly, and the music was perfect! My friends, family, and we all had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.
