We worked with Mandy for our wedding in September 2024 and had a fantastic experience! Mandy was both a joy to work with and a fabulous planner. We partnered with her from the jump, starting with ideation and brainstorming about where to get married, what vibe we were going for, etc and finishing with ensuring a perfectly smooth wedding weekend. Mandy was on top of everything and helped us navigate some tricky situations. She is a proactive and organized communicator and came to the table with tons of helpful advice and relationships that made planning our wedding much easier. I also really appreciated Mandy’s respect for our budget - she worked with us to get the very best for what we budgeted in everything from linens to entertainment. My husband and I regularly say working with Mandy was the best decision we made for our wedding and we miss our weekly meetings with her. If you’re looking for someone to make your planning process much more fun and seamless, Mandy is the person you’re looking for!

Working with Mandy for the past year has been an absolute pleasure! From the start, she was very responsive and we clicked right away. About a year out from the wedding we started meeting on a bi-weekly basis, this planning schedule along with her top notch organization skills led to a seamless planning experience up to the wedding. Mandy took care of everything and kept us schedule and in our budget range. The day of the wedding her associate and Mandy were on site early that day and took care of all aspects of setup and take down, and all the nitty gritty details in between. At the end of the day, she was a dream to work with and my husband and I miss our weekly meeting with Mandy!

Absolutely the best experience possible! Mandy helped us plan and replan (twice) our 2020 wedding, and it ended up being the best wedding we could have imagined! She was so on top of the schedule, the vendors, and all the details - we didn't have to worry about anything that day. I would recommend her to anyone getting married.

Got Light made our wedding look absolutely incredible. We wanted “barnyard chic” with lots of personality and quirky details, and they completely nailed it. From the gorgeous hanging glass pendants at the bar and the warm ambient glow outside, to the amazing mirrored dance floor - it was better than I ever expected. And the crew was so sweet. Couldn’t recommend them more.

She gives zero judgements because she talks to you like an old friend, but she always provides feedback on how to make your plans/suggestions better and she always looked out for my guests. She was able to work with my venue to get an earlier entry time and she was even able to convince them to set up some rows of chairs for our indoor ceremony! There were so many things that didn't go according to plan, but Sheila was very creative in changing up the timeline to ensure we were on time! Hire Sheila, you won't regret it!!
