Golden Gate Park is a vast, lush, and beautifully maintained urban oasis in San Francisco. Perfect for walking, it offers serene trails, scenic lakes, gardens, and open spaces. Sometimes, you can even catch live music concerts, adding vibrant energy to the peaceful surroundings. Whether for a stroll, a picnic, or just to soak in nature, it’s a must-visit destination.

Absolutely beautiful large park with museums, huge trees, blooming flowers, many picnic areas, lakes and ponds, or even a bison paddock. While the Eastern part is full of different museums, botanical gardens and stuff, the Western part is much calmer and less busy. You can certainly spend a day, two or even more just walking through the park, visiting all the sightseeing places and chilling here.

MISSION DOLORES PARK REVIEWS

The view is one of the best in the city, breathtaking at any time of day and in any weather. Almost the entire skyline can be seen. The park is wonderful, there is so much space to walk or lay in the grass and just relax. Some nice businesses and restaurants in proximity, too. I would recommend taking the Muni J line up to this park, not just because of how direct it is (it runs and stops right next to the park) but also how beautiful it is when seen from the train. Stuff like this can only be found in San Francisco. 5/5.

I’m in love with this park! The view, the soft grass, the trees and everything around it! What a beautiful place to be. Just be! I really enjoyed my day there with my lawn chair and my blanket. I #enjoyed it so much and I hope you do too. Take a blanket, some lunch, water and possibly a little something to protect yourself from too much sun because it can get a little hot. But overall it’s perfect.

Mission Dolores Park is a beautiful urban escape with stunning views of the San Francisco skyline. The atmosphere is vibrant yet peaceful, with people lounging, playing, and enjoying the sunshine. A great place for a daytime visit. Bonus—delicious ice cream is available nearby, making it an even sweeter experience. A must-visit spot in SF!

YERBA BUENA GARDENS REVIEWS

Yerba Buena gardens Park has perhaps the best feel in the city. St. Patrick's church, with church bells ringing looks over the park from across Mission st. The monument/memorial to Martin Luther King Jr. and his "I have a dream speech " is so well done. You enter a grotto thats behind a waterfall so the sound divorces you from reality and you're left reading large panels of the speech. The tribute works and is provoking. There are beautiful plants and flowers, as well as the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Flanked by the Moscone convention center, the W hotel, the St. James hotel and the MOMA, I whole heartedly recommend this place. A must, if in San Francisco.

Beautiful floral and fauna garden amongst the backdrop of the modern cityscape. The current exhibition highlighting Mexican cultural is a must see.

Amazing place with tons of spaces to chill out. Weekend grass concert and events. And check out arts come and go every now and then. Love this place!
