The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art was founded in 1935. It was the first museum dedicated to modern and contemporary art. It championed the most innovative and challenging art of its time. The museum is continuously collecting the art done by modern masters and younger, less-established artists. The three-month series in the museum explores the history of race and African Americans' representation in cinema and photographic traditions. The off-wall portion in the museum is done by the five artists breaking the picture frame's confines. The german art portion is the single art dedicated to the leading German artists. Each collection in the museum provides more information to the visitors.
