Specialty:
"K9 Connection is a family-owned and operated company. The team has spent more than a decade developing their approach to dog rehabilitation. Their comprehensive training programs and behavior modification methods are designed for practical, everyday situations. Each client and dog is treated as an individual. All obedience and behavior modification programs include one-on-one training to create a plan suited to both the client’s needs and the dog’s personality. Their Day Training program was developed as an extension of Board and Train and Private Lessons to provide advanced pack socialization as a stand-alone option.
2026 Update: K9 Connection was founded by Tyler Muto, an internationally recognized dog trainer, entrepreneur, and advisor. The team brings hands-on experience in obedience, socialization, and confidence building, as well as addressing complex behavioral issues such as leash reactivity, resource guarding, anxiety, and aggression. Their programs are structured, practical, and based on the science of dog behavior, with a clear focus on results. K9 Connection recommends starting training as early as eight weeks old in the Puppy Group Class. Their socialization window closes around 12–16 weeks, early exposure to people, environments, sounds, and other dogs helps shape a dog’s confidence and temperament."
