ST. JOSEPH CATHEDRAL REVIEWS
I was visiting from out of town and my mother and I wanted to visit the Cathedral. I didn't realize that the Cathedral wasn't open outside of mass times. But, I called the office and was very pleasantly surprised that they let us in and gave us a thorough private tour of the Cathedral and it's rich history. It is a very beautiful Cathedral with amazing stained glass throughout and the Hook and Hastings organ is a sight to behold. Don't forget to look up.
St. Joseph is the Catholic cathedral on the south side of Downtown Buffalo. The cathedral doesn't have much activity outside of mass times as the diocese is actually across from St. Louis church on Main St. on the north side of Downtown Buffalo. There is a small chapel behind the alter and stain glass windows can be found throughout the cathedral. The cathedral is well maintained and there is a small parking lot that is shared with the Erie County Courts, so the best bet is to find street parking when visiting on a weekday.
What a lovely Cathedral! We stopped in while on other business in Buffalo, and it was a wonderful experience. The sacristine was so kind and gave us a little tour.

SAINT LOUIS ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH REVIEWS
Amazing service, and fantastic architecture. The kids loved the pipe organ, would love to hear a full concert! Oldest Catholic church in Buffalo.
This is a beautiful church. We have been fortunate to visit the Vatican and many other churches in Italy and we agree that the St. Louis church is right up there in beauty.
Beautiful church! Lots of preserved history in this church. We love the Sunday masses.
