LOVE this place! Every time I travel to JC for work, this is a MUST! This evening, I walked down from my hotel to grab dinner and they were just closing. They actually made dinner for me, even though they were ready to pull away. (Thanks SO MUCH, Guys) The lamb is so amazingly tender, the white sauce is super fantastic, and I LOVE the hot sauce! Can't wait till next time.

Who would have anticipated such exceptional culinary delights coming from this humble food truck I ordered a falafel rice bowl with salad, and I have to admit, the rice was piping hot and bursting with freshness. The salad, with its minimalistic ingredients – crisp lettuce, tangy pickled cucumber, and flavorful olives – was a true delight. It's safe to say that the food truck scene in NYC has truly elevated the dining experience to a whole new level.

I love, love, love the service and the food. Great overall experience. I was at the food truck today in Paulus Hook. I 100% recommend. Ashraf is the best! (Hopefully I spelt his name correctly). Had to buy more to go.

DARK SIDE OF THE MOO REVIEWS

We were visiting from Philly for a Scout meeting and did a Google search for dinner before our event. Dark Side of the Moo came up and my son asked to go. We walked into this eccentrically decorated restaurant with a rubber alligator swinging on a spoon and stuffed furry animal heads smiling down on us. We loved it. My son got the pulled pork Mac & cheese and I got the lobster empanada. We split tater tots. Everything was soooo good and came out quick. Great place for quality food fast in Jersey City! We’d come back to try the exotic dishes like wild boar tacos and camel sliders, but for our first time the pulled pork was perfect.

Classic cheeseburger hit the spot, I am sensitive to spice and the special sauce had the perfect amount of kick. The tator tots were also delicious. Quick and easy pickup.

If you looking for a different vibe and different flavor definitely the spot. I had the yak burger and it was very good and different.

Me and my girlfriend stopped here 2 times in 2 days. Young hardworking guys! habibi hooked us up! Will stop back whenever I’m up on the area! U can wait a bit for some food. But halal fresh is wayyyy better than old halal! That hot sauce needs to be hotter habibi.

Love their lamb and chick and lamb combo over rice. Sauces are good too.

Enjoyed every bite. The falafel over rice was super flavorful and so satisfying. I’d have it again in a heartbeat.
