MADAME CLAUDE BIS REVIEWS
They are located in the basement, so be prepared for a few steps down. The place is small but very cozy. The menu did not have vegetarian options among the main courses, but the waiter immediately suggested making pasta without adding meat. The staff was nice and attentive. The presentation of the food was exquisite. I was too full to try their escargot this time but it's on my list. Definitely will visit again!
The food here is really spectacular, so delicious, I rarely ever have food so incredibly flavorful and high quality. The design of the restaurant is so relaxed and fashionable, nice ambient music with real candles on the table really set the mood for a wonderful date night. The bone marrow appetizer was certainly a new flavor for me, and the chicken cordon bleu and red snapper was so delicious! We loved it here.
Great service and great food we got the escargot as an app . Hanger steak and a burger as our meals with a side of Brussel sprouts. The dessert was delicious

BARBÈS REVIEWS
This place was amazing! Starting when you walk in, the vibe was so cool, live band playing with a heavy sax player stealing tone of the show. The cocktails were so delicious, they take a bit to make but were definitely worth waiting for! Our server was so busy yet still so attentive. We orders the trio dip appetizer, I forget the name of it but it was my favorite part of the night , so delicious. Entrees were recommended by the server and were also amazing! 10/10 recommend this place!
The couscous was good (and vegetarian), but shawarma was too dry and too plain. It felt like they just boiled chicken for my shawarma and put it on top of lettuce with some sauce. It might pass as a diet meal, but I wanted something delicious. Anyway the atmosphere was really nice. I like their interior and vibe. They have nice live music at weekend's nights.
My favorite restaurant in Hoboken. Great vibe, service and food!! Enjoy so much the their cheese plate and a glass of wine, whether with friend with a great conversation or alone after a day of work.
