MADAME MODERN BISTRO REVIEWS

My husband and I spent our anniversary here and we had a lovely time. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic with a big beautiful bar, velvet booths, and neon lights. Or server Chelsea was excellent at providing us with food and drink recommendations and also took some great pictures of us at the end of the night. Would highly recommend the short rib gnocchi and the profiteroles for dessert. They were even sweet enough to write “Happy Anniversary“ in chocolate sauce on our plate. Can’t wait to come back for happy hour.

Food and service were absolutely wonderful! We were all amazed with how amazing the food was. We’ve never tried caviar before, so we did their champagne and caviar….very well worth it.

10/10 the employees and service was TOP TIER. the food was spectacularrrrr. would 100 recommend everyone to come here.

BARBES REVIEWS

The cocktails are delicious and they have great french fries so it's a great place for drinks and snacks (especially with the live music). The orange sauce and the sweet potato mash in the Magret de Canard really brings out the natural sweetness of the duck meat. The star of every trip for me though is the desserts. The happy affogato is a truly special experience that is a must try for coffee lovers and haters alike. The amaro perfectly bridges the gap between the bitterness of the espresso and the sweetness of the vanilla ice cream to create an entirely new flavor that is simply divine. They also happen to have the best chocolate mousse I've ever had. I like to take a sip of the (melted and mixed) happy affogato, then take a spoonful of the mousse, and then rinse my mouth with water before doing it all over again. A prefect end to a meal.

The atmosphere was amazing! The staff are all very nice and sweet. It made our experience very pleasurable. The French Onion Soup was good. The mediterranean food didn’t really have the typical Mediterranean spices — I’d absolutely come back and try more of the French food.

Had a great Saturday evening in Barbes - refreshing cocktails, well prepared dish (love the watermelon salad and seafood tagline) and good vibe.
