THE GREEN ONION REVIEWS
I'll start with service...it was ok. All were friendly and knowledgeable. We just felt rather rushed. Rather than "welcome. Stay awhile." It was more like. "Have you made your decision yet? I want to put it in incase we get busy." House rose was delicious and the pumpkin white Russian was absolutely amazing. So much so that I had another! There aren't words that describe how delightful our food was. The bruschetta was so fresh. The shrimp and grits were perfect. My son had the black and blue burger and loved it as well. We finished the evening with house made creme Brule and bourbon bread pudding. Such talent in that kitchen. We were there for their jazz night. The music was very good and not so loud you couldn't talk to the person next to you. What a great experience. I can't wait to return.
I am from Chicago and was only in the area briefly but was on the hunt for a spot with New England style lobster rolls - was SO glad I chose the Green Onion! The lobster rolls were fantastic and portion size was great. They have a cute outdoor seating area & our waiter was extremely helpful, kind & attentive. 10/10 recommend this spot!
We went 4pm the weekend before Valentine’s Day the drink prices were great the food was worth the money and our server Erica made everything even better it was amazing the food is literally perfect it was such a romantic anniversary dinner 10/10.

LA BRIOCHE NORFOLK REVIEWS
This is my new favorite place! The staff were so friendly and helpful (one of the staff members explained all her favorites and offered great suggestions when we had trouble deciding) and the pastries and bread were delicious! I got a pain au chocolat, passion fruit tart and a baguette to go. The atmosphere was so cozy with a quiet little sitting area/loft upstairs and there's a window that you can look into the kitchen and see the bakers at work. This is such a cool bakery and I hope to come back soon!
Welcoming owners and a very wide choice of everything french, from bread and baked goods to macarons and cake slices. Busy spot, limited seating on ground floor but there is more seating upstairs. Some hard-to-find french bakes even in other bakeries in france.
Ooooh la la!!! The best most authentic French Bakery in Virginia! Everything is delicious. The staff is so friendly. Highly recommend.
