Went for dinner. We were seated immediately. But I do think sometimes you might have to wait depending on the time that you go. The atmosphere was very nice quiet and clean. Once we were seated the waiter came with menus took our drink orders and we placed our orders and we started receiving our orders within 15 minutes of being seated. The sushi was absolutely delicious. They serve their sake at room temperature which is fine it tasted good. I'll say this if I'm in the mood for sushi I would come to this place. They are reasonably priced as well.

it’s my favorite restaurant!! i go at least 6 times a year because you can’t get better sushi anywhere else. I recommend the snow crab roll and the Sea angel roll.

Absolutely the best sushi experience in Norfolk! Worth every penny for the All-you-can-eat meal.

Incredible. Five stars all day long anybody saying otherwise is crazy. They've got anything you could ever want for sushi here! Wonderful prices too. You order your appetizers sushi whatever and then they bring it to you. Services great and food is delicious.

Still great after 10+ years. I miss the yellowtail jalapeno, but I'll survive. I love sushi king. Been coming here for years. It never disappoints. Great food and great service.

Great service. The food is made as ordered, delicious and it comes out promptly. I recommend this restaurant for solo dates as well as large groups as the ambiance suits both.

HOKKAIDO SUSHI BAR REVIEWS

I seldom leave reviews of restaurants, but this experience was sufficiently motivating enough to drive me to labor of you. We took a chance and let the waitress give us six random rolls and simply told her various preferences. She brought back six rolls that were all individually incredible very cool atmosphere with high ceilings. Incredible sushi rolls our favorite place.

I came in the middle of the week so it was less crowded. Keep in mind, this is downtown Norfolk, so trying to find parking can be challenging. (Also close by, Granby Street Pizza took up 4 parking spaces with their delivery vehicles.

After a long road trip, we wanted anything but fast food or burgers. Hokkaido did not disappoint. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. Snapped a few photos where I could before everyone ate everything up.
