Although it’s not the first time my family has used Harrell’s, it was the first time I planned a funeral. It’s overwhelming, but David at Harrell’s made it simple, straight forward, and compassionate. I was lucky since there was a bunch of funeral planning taken care of ahead of time, but David ran me through everything that was set up and made sure it was still the plan. Everyone at the funeral home was gracious and helped our family in this hard time. I really appreciated Ted Thulin; he was a minister that Harrell’s got us to help run the service - it took a lot of stress off my shoulders and he offered thoughtful, caring, and approachable insight during the funeral. I don’t think I could have done it without him. I would recommend Harrell’s and plan on using them in the future.

Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Funeral Director and staff were very helpful with all our needs for the cremation of my husband. I chose a Memorial Mass and had the reception catered by Cook-Walden and the food was delicious. They worked with the Church to get the food service set up and ready and there was plenty of food and drink for everyone.

Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks did a great job with my mom's funeral service. My mom looked beautiful. Everyone was very helpful and nice. Katlyn Kellen put together the Dove Ceremony at the gravesite. It tuned out beautiful. I received a lot of very nice compliments on it. The thank you cards and prayer cards came out very nice.
