SIT MEANS SIT DOG TRAINING AUSTIN REVIEWS

Christian and Madison were awesome! I have an amazing 6 month old German Short-Haired Pointer named Winston (high energy!) that could not stop pulling on leash or couldn’t handle being alone for more than a minute before I came to Sit Means Sit. Every single week was a dramatic improvement, now I’m able to properly communicate with my pup and alleviated a lot of frustration! Even with minor setbacks/puppy energy I was always confident that I have the ability to work through the issue thanks to Christian and Madison’s help! The biggest difference here is how much communication the trainers provide! Every week Christian and Madison pushed for more information and actually worked/addressed the information and questions that I provided! Would recommend to anyone with any dog type, I can now take Winston out and explore all of the areas he wants to see and meet as many dogs as he wants with supreme confidence and he’s only getting better with every week! Couldn’t have had a better experience and outcome, the group classes are a huge perk as well to work with other trained dogs! Thank you both!

I highly recommend training here if you have a reactive dog! The eCollar used in the training is so helpful to get my pittie’s attention for a command & not used for punishment. I did the 6 week day camp that included 2 additional private lessons & 30 group classes after that. I’ve seen a drastic difference in his behavior, confidence & obedience. 5 stars & worth every penny!

ALL the staff are outstanding. Our golden doodle was out of control and we were about at our wits end. The turn around after training with Sit Means Sit is amazing. We feel confident as Theo’s parents now. He’s still a puppy and has more to learn, but now we have the tools to keep going. We are very encouraged and grateful for the support we get at the lessons and afterwards. Don’t hesitate to enroll your dog.

Taurus is truly a special place with special people. We have been taking our dogs there for three years, and I cannot recommend them enough. We have used them for daycare, boarding, training (in home and classes), and board and train. We have worked through some challenging situations and behaviors, and their knowledge, care, compassion, professionalism, communication, and genuine human empathy are unmatched. We’ve primarily worked with Chloe for training, and I highly recommend her for any training needs - basic commands, complicated behaviors, teaching dog manners, etc. But truly - the whole team deserves a shout out because it is clear they love their job and they really love the dogs they care for.

I have done the professional training and taken my dog here for overnight stays when I travel for work for just over 6 months now and enjoy the people and service here. When I am gone for work they send me”report cards” with an update on my dog and pictures that help me rest assured she is having a good time.

I LOVE the Taurus team! Chloe is the absolute best. She recently did a group training class for us and I was so impressed with her ability to teach not just the dogs but also their humans! Taurus is an Austin favorite for a reason - highly recommend.

Wonderful training facility. We took the 6 week adult basics class and are now taking the multi week canine good citizens class and are so glad we going the Canine Center. We've noticed such a change for the better in the dog we rescued and feel like we have the tools to help her succeed. The trainers are experts in working with different personalities of dogs so lessons are parsed with personalized advice on specifics issues we're trying to work on. We've really enjoyed investing in our relationship with our pup and learning the way she thinks. I highly recommend the Canine Center to anyone looking to work with their dog. Ask about their rescue discount!

Working with the team at the Canine Center has been so great! Jane is my favorite trainer and has made this experience fun and enjoyable for everyone involved, including our 107lb GSD! All staff members are kind and caring people. They really know the dogs and care deeply about them. We have been to other places in Austin and we were feeling overwhelmed on how to help our dog while protecting him from traumatic training situations and the Canine Center saved the day. Honestly this place is a life saver! Please give them a try if you are looking for knowledgeable and kind trainers.

Excellent training courses for puppies, Ness and i really enjoyed the location, trainers and the training material. We will be back to get Ness into some of the advanced weekend courses.
