This park has something for everyone of every age. I love trail running and there are amazing single track trails. Tons of hikers abound too. And a mix of deep shady trails and those exposed to sunlight can be found. If you enter off Redwood road entrance the stream trail is great for little ones as it is paved. No matter what you are looking for in a park, it can be found here.
I Love this park! It's so quiet, pretty, and chill. I've trail run a lot in here, taken visitors for basic or more challenging hikes, and also it's a great place to bring dogs. If you go early in the day like before 10am you have the place mostly to yourself and may even see dear or small rabbits.
Excellent place to go for a hike or trail run. I usually park around the Moon Gate where there's less people and the connection to the Redwood Bowl is shorter, although via the Tres Sendas trail is steeper than the Stream Trail, which is the most popular option.
