Beautiful redwood forest with expansive and well-maintained trails. There are sunny, easy trails for biking and dog walking. Or you have the option to go down into the dank depths for mossy, mushroom adventures. Love it and will be a long-time visitor.

A large park with lots to do. There are a lot of trails to go on walks and various grassy areas for picnics. Beautiful wildlife and in the summer they have goats roaming around eating the grass. Sometimes people can be loud in the popular areas and it can be hard to park but everything else is well worth it.

Lovely park with its own lake where you can swim in the summertime. There is fishing, and, usually, plenty of waterfowl. Great site for picnics (tables and barbecues are available). Plenty of play areas for children with swings over a sand base and jungle gyms. There is a fee for parking on the weekend.
