We love taking our baby dog here...they even have a nice "drink station for 2 legged and 4 legged creatures. The city did a fantastic job with the park. Definitely somewhere you can spend the day or a couple of hours....they have restrooms and picnic area w/grills. Trails run throughout the park along with benches....
Peaceful place for a walk on a trail. Nice spots for fishing. Calm water for kayaking. Playground near park. Covered picnic area on property. Need a city of Norfolk permit/day pass to boat or kayak. Sign says no paddleboarding or swimming.
One of my all time favorite places. Great trails for running or walking and great scenery, with plenty of places to relax.
