Mid Atlantic Custom Builders recently renovated our second floor bthroom in Norfolk. Our home is almost 100 years old and presented a challenge for any contractor as the rooms were in their mostly original ceramic tile condition. We combined two adjacent existing small bathrooms into one bathroom. The project took 55 calendar days to complete. Work consisted of demo to the framing and remodel with new finishes. Existing finishes were full mud set ceramic tile floors on wood lath and wire lath mud set tile. We elected to have new ceramic tile floor throughout and a full ceramic tile shower. Painted drywall and new fixtures finished out the space. The finish product is outstanding and his work crews were professional and good at communicating their needs (finishes) and work schedule throughout the entire project. I have worked as a commercial construction manager and estimator in Tidewater since 1981 and this is some of the best drywall and tile work I have seen in my career. All of the trades involved including electrical and framing were professional craftsmen and did excellent work. Brian Grace, the owner of Mid Atlantic, is a very direct and motivated person. This proves to be vital in any project that is complex and has day to day challenges as occurs in older homes. The finished product was beautiful and everything my wife and I hoped it would be. Mid Atlantic Custom Builders recently completed a renovation on my Carriage House plus installation of new roofing on entire house and garage and new fence. All work was completed professionally and in a timely manner. The owner, Brian Grace, was very responsive and his crew is awesome and very professional. I added additional projects along the way, outside of the original scope of work, without any issues. Everything was completed to my satisfaction and would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again on future projects.

Mid-Atlantic Custom Builders recently completed an extensive addition to our home. In the process they expanded the garage and connected it to the main house, added two bathrooms, a ground floor bedroom, a large multipurpose room above the garage and a covered porch. All work was professionally completed and Brian Grace, the owner, was extremely helpful with creative ideas and suggestions as the project evolved.
