Deleyah Holly (or "Miss D," as our kiddos know her) is an A M A Z I N G tutor! Here's why: 1) she was always flexible. For two working parents, Miss D's ability to flex and adjust her tutoring schedule to ours ensured out kiddos never missed a session, which super-charged their growth; 2) she really connected with our kiddos. Our son (1st Grade) sometimes has trouble staying on-task and engaged with his schoolwork. Miss D's approach was always patient, kind, but also firm, which really maximized our son's productivity and progress; and finally 3) she's just an amazing tutor. She knows the material inside and out and is able to meet the kids where they are, developmentally speaking, and bring up to where they need to be (and beyond!). We STRONGLY recommend her.

I have observed Ms. Holly teach over the past 10 years. I have also had the pleasure of teaching her former students. She is a remarkable educator that focuses on the whole child. She has the amazing ability to motivate and educate simultaneously. She uses data to drive her targeted instruction to help her student progress at an amazing pace. Her lessons are fun and educational at the same time. She helps her students discover a love for learning that they carry with them long after they no longer require her support. She is and will always be my first choice when referring a child to tutoring.

I would highly recommend Deleyah. She has been truly wonderful helping our pre-k kiddo be ready for Kindergarten. She is so sweet and kind but is also firm which really helps keep my daughter stay engaged. She has a very engaging way of teaching and keeping my daughter interested. She has helped my daughter be beyond where she needs to be for Kindergarten which will be a terrific confidence boost for her! We will be using her this summer to also tutor our rising 3rd grader in math.

I’ve been using Club Z’s online classrooms to receive some help and tutoring for 2 of my college classes. I must say that I am very impressed by the functionality and ease of use of their online App. Working online with my tutor has been a piece of cake. Thanks Z.

Jonathan is doing really well in all of his classes this semester, 5 A’s & 2 B’s (he has a computer essentials class instead of PLC). In his Algebra class that Nathan is helping him with he has an A+.

Club Z has some great tutors who are very professional and they go above and beyond to help your students. I highly recommend them.

The Sylvan staff have been super helpful and accommodating when it came to my son’s education. He was really struggling with his confidence in reading and was starting 3rd grade at a much lower reading level. Now he’s made HUGE improvements and continues to get better and better. I love how they even offer to connect with his teachers/specialists at school to further support him. As soon as we got his assessment results they hit the ground running as a team! My son loves their reward system and they continue to find new ways to motivate him to keep improving. They are open to discussing my son’s progress anytime I ask and we adjust accordingly if needed. They also have been wonderful at accommodating our schedule changes due to sports or vacations. I look forward to continuing to work with this Sylvan staff. When my son walks in with a frown and walks out with a smile, I know they are doing something right.

If you are thinking of sending your kid or kids to tutoring at sylvan in Suffolk, you must first know this… the teachers truly care and my son absolutely adores them! He actually enjoys going to tutoring and I can’t believe the results in just a few months. The owner Kim and management team couldn’t be more accommodating when my son was sick and unable to make it, they went above and beyond to make sure Brody got what he needed. I’m so happy we chose this route for him and wouldn’t take it back for anything.

Sylvan Learning of Suffolk is amazing! My son was struggling with reading and writing skills and they were able to get him on track for 2nd grade within 4 months. We love that he is motivated to learn and more confident. The staff is amazing and keeps you up to date on your child's progress frequently. We highly recommend Sylvan Learning.
