THE HOTEL CAPTAIN COOK REVIEWS

A fantastic pre cruise stay! We flew into Anchorage late and had booked a stay for overnight before getting the train to Seward the next day. Room was clean, large, comfortable and quiet - perfect after a long 28 hr day due to time differences! Great service with the cruise line staff working with the hotel to ensure a smooth transition to holiday. Great views of surrounding area! Lots of historical bits related to local history. A great breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel has been updated since my last stay. The bathroom is awesome with a huge walk-in shower and nice amenities. The room now has a big screen television with a ton of movies and channels. The renovation work is ongoing by the look of the inside of the elevator (particle board). The hallways are still dark and dreary. A nice upgrade to the rooms, though. Good downtown location. Highly recommended. Try " Taco King" for quick tacos and burritos.

Great service, the room service and cleaning staff are very helpful and professional. The hotel is beautiful and clean. Rooms are well taken care. I ahd a room with a beautiful view which is a plus. Good food in the restaurants. It is located in a very accessible spot. I greatly enjoyed my stay.

THE LAKEFRONT ANCHORAGE REVIEWS

Excellent all around, free airport shuttle, professional front desk staff, nicely appointed and clean rooms. The restaurant is very nice with beautiful views of the lake and planes, the bartenders pour a great drink and the food is high quality with a varied menu. We stay there frequently and highly recommend it.

Absolutely love dining here! The view of the lake is stunning, especially with float planes taking off in the background. The food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is always welcoming and relaxing. A must-visit spot if you're near the airport.

Very nice spot to stay. Beautiful lake views. Breakfast staff Rita & Byron were so friendly and offered great service. Will definitely be back in July. One of the nicer hotels in anchorage and close to the airport.

HILTON ANCHORAGE REVIEWS

Rooms were a bit odd, mostly clean but slight bits of dirt or dust in the corners, my room had a particularly odd smell but it wasn't enough to deter me. The highlight of this hotel is the service, the front desk woman was very nice and made me feel welcome. My bellboy Khari was extremely helpful and was patient with me as I walk quite slow due to a disability. I will definitely stay here again as it's in the perfect location and felt very secure.

We had a great experience. The room was very nice (and I travel a lot so I've seen it all!) We didn't need much and we were pleased that the staff was awesome for a few questions, and the place was in excellent condition. OK, you're not at the 4 Seasons, but it's a typical Hilton with great quality. I'm not sure why so many other reviews were harsh, I thought it was just great.

Hotel staff were nice, courteous and helpful. The only thing that wasn't the greatest was the parking situation, but at least it was secure. There's not much that can be done about it. I will stay here again when I come back to town.
